I love that Neon Armadillo offers a clean eating healthy and very tasty menu. I love their food. No seed oils used, organic and locally sourced food, doesn't get better than that!!!! .....so hard to find these days! Thank you Neon Armadillo for bringing it to Wimberley

Ok y'all, I'm a very much a "foodie" I guess, if that means I am very critical about dishes prepared by restaurants, food trucks, etc. I am not a chef but a self-taught cook for many years and have been told I am pretty good at it. Not trying to toot my own horn, just that I think I can recognize something that's really great and that is this food truck (restaurant coming in spring) Spectacular food. My faves so far, brisket wedge salad, pollo, queso, guacamole is AH-mazing, chips fried in tallow, WHAT? No see oils, grass fed beef, pasture raised chicken...you go and decide. I know my decision, one of the best in WTX and there aren't many--I'm a Local. Enjoy y'all!!

This is not the place to overlook while in Wimberly! It's tucked behind the new Junk Gypsies store right off of RR12. Has an awesome outdoor seating area think community table style (GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER) As one of their first people to try the menu I gotta say I'm hooked! Tex-Mex BBQ! I had trouble wrapping my head around 2 of my favorite cuisine types mashing together but one single bite had me sold! The Brisket is absolutely amazing! Tender, Juicy, and seasoned perfectly! The Rice and Beans are fantastic! Absolutely everything is delicious! SEAD OIL FREE! Such a huge difference in flavor and so much better for you! The guys running the place clearly care about everything they do. Not only the product they serve but take the time to give you a run down on how it all works. 10/10 would recommend to literally anyone with taste buds.

The food was delicious with so much flavor. Addison salsa was a hit. A must stop in Wimberly.

Food is delicious. We ordered the brisket bibb salad, hamburger and queso. We returned the next day to try more options. We LOVED it!

Incredible food! The brisket, smoked chicken wings, Mexican rice and charro beans were our favorite! The chef was super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was pretty and relaxed. This is our new favorite spot!!
