Ned Granger Cafe

The manager has left after years of service (Ms Juliana) who kept that place clean, stocked with fresh food and great customer service. Went over today to grab a sandwich...the baked goods were only cookies (whereas before it's was a plethora of baked goodness) the salad bar looked trash as well as the condiment bar (used to be well stocked with fresh veggies and sauces)Sadly I won't be back.

Ned Grundy's is the only place I eat anymore. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, doesn't matter. You can't really understand until you've tried it, and once you do your life will never be the same.I've always wanted to see how far I can throw the chicken fried steak, you know, like a Frisbee, but I've just never had the courage.They also have all-you-can eat salt and pepper in the back corner.

Have expectations for what you're walking into. Cafeteria-like restaurant, prices that are unbelievably cheap, staff that is so friendly and interactive. I got a big bacon egg and cheese taco, hash brown, oatmeal with toppings, and an ice tea the size of a jug - and everything was less than $8. If you can get past my large order needed to cure a hangover you will find that this restaurant is a hidden gem.

Cheap as hell, quality food (nothing fancy or over the top, gets the job done). Assuming most people who eat here are either employees near that area or have business near the court house. Really good spot to stop and get good cheap breakfast if you're running late to work. Staff is also very sweet and friendly.

Amazing food, service and prices. I come her almost everyday, if I could, an try everything on menu. My favorite is enchiliadas, quesadillas, an the chicken! Always cooked to perfection. I def recommend this place to anybody in the area. Its worth every penny!!

Incredible value for Austin downtown lunch. Hamburger steak with mushrooms, cabbage, and beans for under $7. It was pretty tasty too. I'll be back.

For breakfast tacos at least, they're average. Pre made ingredients will always get one star off and no fresh tortillas much less no corn tortillas get them another star off. Good in a pinch, though.

It was so great and amazing, can't wait to eat here again !!!!!! The food was so good . I would tell all my friend and family to try this place out . You wont be disappointed .
