Have tried their dine in but most recently take out orders . Very good biriyani, my mom loved the level of spice as requested! Chicken lollipops were a bit dry. Have tried their chicken noodles, mango lassi which are all good and tasty!Liked the ambiance but It can get really crowded !

Finally tried the Potlam Pulauv from Nawabi Hyderabad Biryani, and it was nice to have something traditional but rare to find in Austin. If you're a biryani lover, this is a must-try. The dish features rice and meat wrapped in a thin omelette and banana leaves We ordered the Potlam Pulauv NatuKodi ($21), and as always here, the meat was incredibly flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the bone-in style. They typically serve it at a medium spice level by default, which has a decent kick, so be sure to specify your spice preference if you want it milder or hotter.Their bread is the best I've had in Austin. The parota with curry ($17) was especially noteworthy--flaky and delicious. You can get it shredded (kota) or whole, depending on your preference. We've dined here many times, and I recommend trying the more unique dishes rather than the curries since the other items are harder to find. That said, we did sample the butter chicken, and it was excellent. Made with white meat, it was tender and not dry, with a creamy consistency and not just another tikka masala

The service and ambiance at Nawabi House are great and I think the owners are kind. The tvs playing cricket reminds you of india! However, I think the food is so-so, particularly because we are vegetarian and the place is more geared towards non vegetarians. We ordered medhu Vada (good but nothing special), the gobi was totally burnt, and parotta (which was good). They were very amenable to feedback and took off the gobi from our bill which I appreciated. We will probably stick to doing paneer biriyani from now on.

Tried this place on a weekday evening, even then it was full and crowded. Dosa was not so crispy, plenty of better options are available in surrounding. Afghani paneer was ok. Naan was defnitely good.

Food this time wasn't appetizing. No sides served with fried rice. Pretty disappointed. Other things remain ok including the ambience and service.

This place was a disaster, I rarely have a bad experience that I want to write about but this was a pretty unsatisfying meal. Our friend was visiting from out of town so we thought this would be a cool place to visit, it was not. While the decor is nice and the restaurant is bustling and spacious, the wait time was INSANE. We waited for around 30-40 minutes for our table even though when we asked they said 20 min. The service low key was disappointing as well, they took forever to get to us and take our order and we solid waited 40 minutes for our food and our order wasn't even extensive!! We made the mistake of deciding to order a couple of things and more stuff later but that was a mistake because we literally could not get the wait staffs attention at all. Moreover while the huge fans inside keep you cook they also blow off your food from the table! I literally had to grab my flying puri, it was hilarious but also what!? Ok now the food, we ordered one chicken saag, chole puri, naan and some desserts. They gave us the deserts first. And one of them wasn't even put in a container, they just took the takeout container and put that on the table, the presentation on both deserts was SO lacking we didn't feel like eating either, thankfully the gulab jamun at least tasted good. Anyway after a while we got the chole/chana masala which was delicious, puri that was too oily and crispy, and chicken saag which was good but barely any chicken. Once again I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was a really bad visit for us.

MEAL: DinnerORDER TYPE: Dine InMY ORDER EXPERIENCEAs I have already written my review previously on Carry-out, this experience is based on my Dine In experience. As this Indian place was closer to my place so we opted to go to this restaurant. We were a party of 3 and were given seats right away as the place was quiet. The server handed over the menu which had limited items due to Soft Launch opening.Upon reviewing and discussing, we ordered the following items from various sections. It took about 15+ items for the dishes to arrive. APPETIZERSManchurian - Gobi(spicy)The Gobi Manchurian looked delicious. The Manchurian was well cooked and was flavorful. It was topped with spring onion and had green peppers in it. BIRYANISBiryanisKaju Paneer Biryani ® (spicy)This has been my favorite dish so far at this restaurant as the biryani has been delicious. The biryani had the right amount of spices with sufficient portions which makes this biryani the best. It was topped with additional paneer pieces, cilantro, and onions. The best part was the cashews that are added to the biryani along with the paneer chunks. I RECOMMEND this biryani for vegetarians. Gutti Vankaya Biryani ® (spicy)I have never tried an eggplant in a biryani. This was an interesting combination which I have never seen or heard about. Surprisingly, the biryani tasted good. As the name itself shows, the domination of EggPlant flavors can be felt while consuming. It was topped with eggplant with its masala, cilantro, and onions. The quantity was like Kaju Paneer Biryani. Both the biryanis came with salan and raita. We also ordered one Thums Up to add kick to our delicious meal. Biryani and Thums Up is one of the popular combinations while consuming a biryani. The price was super expensive as it was $3 per can. Overall, the food had essence, presentation and taste which made us bellyful. The customer service was good. The food seemed fresh and was served hot. The taste and the quality of food is still consistent from the day of opening as other places have had the history of the food quality going down. The restroom needs to be hygienic and has issues with water dripping. I would be giving a 4 rating just for food. But, for the other details, please review my previous experience.
