Stopped in to try this cute little place featuring Swedish pastries today. They are in a little plaza that has benches and some other food trucks too also a parking lot and street parking which is always a plus. These were all sweet options, we got the morning glory muffin, toscana cake with almonds, and another stacked one. These were all very nice and moist, my favorite was the almond cake with the mixture of salty and sweet. Definitely a good place to checkout if you want to try some new sweet breakfast items. The guy there was also super nice and helpful and gave us a little postcard with our order that showed the food truck which was such a nice touch! They also had sampler options where you could buy 5/6 things to try and get a discount too. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

Such a cute pastry food truck with an amazing owner! Stumbled upon My Sweetish Friend while getting coffee from Cheri and thought to myself a pastry is definitely a good accompaniment to coffee, so I headed right next door to the most adorable looking trailer/van with the friendliest owner. I got the apple brown and it was delicious! So much so, that I almost cried when the wind blew my last bite on the floor. To my surprise , the owner saw what happened and had an extra one to give to me! If that doesn't scream outstanding customer service I don't know what will. Needless to say, I will be back to try more of the pastries and just a tip you can order ahead of time on their instagram!

I had come here to check out Cheri Coffee & Flowers and was so surprised when I turn my head and saw this food place right next to it. The owner said that he came to check out the coffee at Cheri's with his wife and told the owner that some pastries would go well his is drinks and a few months later he opened up shop right next to Cheri. When we walked up the owner asked if we had been here before and started breaking down the menu for us which was so nice of him! Everything on there is baked fresh that morning so he has a steady supply of them for the day. The menu, while small, is packed with absolute flavor and diversity of ingredients. The menu has 3 or 4 choices that don't change but have 2 that are constantly rotating so my wife and I decided to try those out. I had The Apple Brown and my wife had The Mighty Morgan. They were amazing, The Apple Brown really blew me away, the owner told me he mixed cream cheese and and apple sauce to keep it all nice and moist and full of flavor but the way he baked them all together was just perfect The best way to describe the Mighty Morgan is like his version of a carrot cake muffin but only in ingredients. This most certainly was no carrot cake, he put together some flax and chia seeds, some carrots, raisins, and nuts. It was very good, There was some outside seating available to us but it was just a bit too cold this morning to fully enjoy that so we had to eat the car. This was the perfect accompaniment to the coffee, an absolute must have if you're traveling down Burnet

Stumbled upon this place; while on a recent trip, after I saw a couple social media posts about Cheri Coffee (which is in the same lot) so decided to give it a try. Couldn't decide what to get so we decided to do something called a Sweetish Sampler, which is basically a box with one of everything in it. Definitely the right call, as everything was fresh and delicious - my favorites were the Swedish Tosca cake and the Pear Cardamom cake, neither of which I'd ever run across before, let alone tried. The tosca was moist and buttery, with an amazing sugary salty almond topping, and the Pear Cardamom cake had strong pear and ginger tones and textures, with just the right combination of cardamom and cinnamon. Hands down a couple of the best pastries I've had in recent years! The owner was friendly and helpful and talked me through everything on the menu before I ordered. He apparently also caters meetings and events as well, which feels like a no-brainer if it's your turn to provide the treats at the next company off-site. Next time I'm in Austin I will definitely be back! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Such a cute hidden gem in north austin! Owner is super nice and great to chat with. I got the sample platter cause I couldn't NOT try everything. Right next to a small coffee shop that i got a tea at, there were plenty of tables/chairs for us to sit at.
