Absolutely incredible. And the folks working there are so friendly. This truck is tucked into Buzzmill (a great place on its own) and every time I've come they've been closed. Had to make it a point to show up when they were open and it was everything I was hoping for and more.Made to order and quick service. I had the wings and plantains and they complimented each other perfectly.And again, friendly folks, which is half the equation. I'm coming back again to try everything they got on the menuCheers!

A great meal indeed. A truck stationed in a easy to access parking lot area operated by two cool brothers! The service was friendly and smooth they give you a pager to let you know when you're order is ready too. The jerk was kicking with spice and flavor and to balance it all out the fire Mac n cheese! I ordered 2 orders of jerk chicken and killed it all! Definitely a must try when in Austin. Also it's located near a food mart if you want drinks to pair with your meal!

Finally got to try Mr. Pimento at the Buzz Mill for dinner on a Wednesday night. It's a jerk kitchen with a lot of flavor! Overall I liked the food a lot (ate almost every bite, and others were reaching in for a try too).The Food:- jerk mushrooms with the big up fries - wish the ratio of mushrooms was a little heavier because I had a few more fries than mushrooms left. little heavy on the sauce and the charred flavor, if you're looking for that to cover any mushroom flavor- jerk chicken: a little less sauce, little more meat-flavor focused - has to be the best seller- Plantains: crunchy on the edges, softer in the middle, a little sweet, fried and warm - my favorite partThank you to the team at Mr Pimento for the kindness and the food! I'll be back for my next craving.

I was curious to see who took over the food truck of one of my favourite BBQ spots and it turned to be Mr Pimento, jerk chicken and such. I definitely had to check this place out.On my first visit, I really enjoyed the Jerk Chicken and Mac n Cheese, jerk chicken served alongside a hearty pasta dish made with cheddar, gouda and secret cheese sauce. Extra creamy, extra cheesy! The chicken was very savory and the sauce had my lips tingling, just the way I like my Jerk Chicken.My second visit was as eventful as my first. I had the Jerk Chicken and Big Up Fries. The Jerk chicken didn't leave my lips tingling and the Big Up Fries topped with parmesan, scallions, thyme, and cilantro. Garnished with caramelized sweet plantains and gently drizzled with Mr.Pimento's Jerk Sauce were a bit too much for my palate.Mr Pimento is doing an amazing job but I do not plan to visit again until after January 11, 2023 when he plans have more staffers so he can concentrate on keeping that wow factor afloat that I experience on my first visit.

The food came out quick and the pricing was okay, but in terms of taste it was pretty average.

Absolutely beautiful people and food. You can tell the people here put their whole heart and soul in the food. I ordered the Jerk Jackfruit, and I mentioned I had never had jackfruit ever so they let me have a sample first!! So thoughtful, things like that go a long way! Overall 10/10 experience and very happy this place is at one of my favourite spots now :-)

First time trying Jamaican food and I for sure will be eating it again very soon. Super cool and friendly environment and the owner legitimately cares anoyt the food and service he is providing and i loved that. Drove from Round Rock and it was worth the drive. EVERYTHING we had was amazing. The jerk chicken was moist and fall off the bone good! Jerk sauces were fire!! But my favorite had to be the green sauce. Plantains go great with the seasoning and spices from the chicken!!! Rice was my favorite tho. Thanks man we'll be back. Thank you for the bday wishes. FROM THE PATRICKS

Some of the best flavors in the riverside area. This spot is such a unique change up to the usual fares around. From the chicken, to the sides and sauces, everything tastes intentional and dank. Extremely friendly and efficient serviceIf you're visiting the buzz mill or other establishments around the area, make sure to give it a try. This is now heavily in rotation and if they keep it rolling, it'll be for you too.

Today, these guys showed up at our daily pop-up lunch option in our work cafeteria. Of all of the pop-ups that we have had, Mr. Pimento has been the best to date. It's the best jerk chicken I have had in a while: great flavor, tender, & well-balanced spices. Great personalities on the two guys who served!
