Moonie's Burger House

I love the customization they offer here. I usually get the philly and it is always really good. I can add the goodies I like and they have a bunch! Love the onion rings here, good and crispy. Glad that they moved closer to our house.

The Moonies in Cedar Park was a solid 3.5-4.0 spot. Good burgers and nice spot to sit and eat.Tried the Leander location three times now, but probably won't go back. Burgers are still decent, but don't taste as good as before. It's the location that makes the review a 2. No matter what they do to make it better, and I can see they have tried, it's just not very welcoming.Also, pricing for what you get is high.

What happened?I remember one of my first dates with my husband was to Moonies - Cedar Park location. I remember falling in love with everything. The portions, the taste, the vibe. Service was even great! We now have the Leander location closest to us and we ordered online for the first time. Zero hassle! That was nice. Great online experience. I arrived to the restaurant and was greeted by a very energetic and kind woman. She immediately went back to the kitchen to check on my order. During my brief wait time, I looked around and noticed that this location is a little older. Not a problem. Separate bathrooms for genders. Table tops were all very clean but my sandals were STICKING to the floor. Yikes. I didn't check my order before I left- sadly. I ordered sweet potato fries, my receipt in the photos for the proof. I love their sweet potato fries but unfortunately didn't get to experience them this time around. This was our first time ordering mozzarella sticks and personally... I wouldn't order them again. They were just odd. Overall a decent experience. Hoping for a better one next time.

Dinner for two was $50, high school staff was not properly trained. Food was burnt, cooked in old oil, took forever to come out, fry cook came from the back aggressively and proceeded to pull apart and crunch the cheese sticks in my husbands face and say "burnt? This ain't burnt."we asked for a full refund and decided to 86 the entire order. Do not recommend. Go to any other location

After reading good things about Moonies we stopped and tried it in Leander. The burgers we ordered were tasteless, I don't believe they used FRESH angus beef as advertised - looked and tasted like any other place, the fries and tater tots tasted like old oil, all this for $33..... big let down... not a fan !

Went here for a late lunch with out of town family who were tired of turkey already. If you like sweet Hawaiian style buns, this is your place! Great service, good food and even the picky grandson chowed down his meal. The onion rings were a bit over cooked, but the fried pickles and mushrooms as a appetizer were AMAZING.

New management. Seems so far going well. Fried mushrooms were good. I liked my burger and my partner was satisfied.

I used to really like the Moonie's off Anderson Mill, so I was excited to try this Leander location. They have lots of options and customizations, like grilled chicken patties and gluten-free buns. But I received a totally burnt piece of chicken. The fries were over cooked too. My entire meal was inedible.It takes a serious amount of zero f'ks given to serve a customer an obviously burnt piece of food. Which makes me concerned for things the other reviews have said, like the overall quality of food here. This place really needs new management.

Used to be my go to burger spot, not sure what's going on these two past time I've ordered. I ordered online and when my food was brought to me my 3 drinks were missing. I called three days in a row trying to get a manger for a refund or something. Ordered again tonight and I opened our food and the lettuce was discolored and old. I hope this bad lunch chain stops. I love Moonies and I hope my next time will be better.
