I came her for a UT Women's basketball game. The Moody Center functioned really well for this event. First of all, everything is clearly marked to help you find your seats. Next, the video screens helped show the action for people seating in the higher seats. The score was posted clearly in more than one place for easy reference. The concourse had many different food options; however, we did not check any of them out.Like others have noted, parking wasn't really convenient. We walked quite a distance to get there. But it was a nice day, and a daytime event, so it didn't bother us.

I have been to the Moody center at least a dozen times and I cannot say too many negative things about it, but mostly positive. My biggest gripe is arriving and leaving the venue. The rideshare location has improved slightly as I take a Lyft every time I go; however, something needs to happen to ensure higher security when waiting for a ride after a show. The last time I went, I had to sit next to a police officer because there were predatory personnel trying to sell me services and food. The prices for beer and alcohol in general are obscene, especially after the high ticket prices. The only time I had an exceptional experience was when I was in a VIP lounge. The acoustics are wonderful, even in the nosebleeds. The civilians are usually the problem as many of them are overly intoxicated. Still, I have enjoyed many experiences of my favorite bands here, but I still consider other venues in Austin over this one.If you were to go to the Moody Center, please do your research on entry and exit as it is very complicated and difficult at times.

visiting from new york and it was really unfortunate because the security DO NOT know what they are doing. they took my small digital camera which can fit into my pocket. their protocol only applies to big professional cameras, yet the security were so strict for no reason. they really tried to make me MOODY. not to mention, i visited a month ago too to see jhene aiko and they allowed me to bring my small camera.i went to see kacey musgraves & she, herself did amazing! love her music and it honestly felt like a safe space.

Always have a good time at the moody center. It looks so nice after the renovations. Parking and getting there can be a struggle with the Ubers and such but once inside, it's a great time. We recently tried Big Chicken and the fully self checkout was a breeze to go through. Took like 3 minutes. All the employees are also nice and helpful in my experience. 10/10

Very dope architecture in and outside. We got there real early and parked in the Manor garage which was literally steps from the front entrance, it was $62 but if you're a disabled vet, it's ! I ordered a pulled pork SamMich from Stubb's and it was dry as the Sahara. The bread was soggy and falling apart, I went back and added BBQ hopping it would get a lil more moist but it didn't. We were in service 112, Row C, great seats! The sound could've been better for Mario and the DJs but that wasn't the venues fault imo.

I truly do love the Moody. It's a super clean venue. Just the right size to always catch a great view of whatever concert you are seeing or comedian. Not a bad seat in the house. Only draw back tonight was the drop off line had been moved blocks away, even for ADA accommodations. Food vendors always have the best freshest foods. Some companies are usually giving away free samples of something with swag. All of the ushers tonight were super nice and accommodating! The acoustics in the Moody are far better than San Antonio, NRG or American Airlines center.

This was my second time visiting Moody Center, arrived solo to see Justin Timberlake. My Uber driver dropped me off in the rideshare area. Had to walk about 15 minutes to get to the gate area. I thought it said doors open at six, but they opened at 6:30. Huge hiccup with the gal that checked my purse and advised me that only clear purses are allowed. I had read the bag policy and my bag was 5x9 x 1.5. (I reread right before writing my review) I just agreed with her and walked away. This venue is very spacious never seems overly crowded even though it was a full house. My seats were blocked by lighting. Not sure if that's on the venue side or the performers side. The show was also supposed to start at 7:30 and did not start till 8 PM. Again, not sure whose side that was on. Heading over to rideshare is absolutely nuts, no directions, people going left, people going right and then turning around and going in different directions. Outside staff members do not know where a rideshare is. They do announce inside the streets for Rideshare. Still confusing, finally found a worker who pointed in the direction of rideshare then it all came back to me that I had walked this way. Walked my 15 minutes to rideshare and it's a hot mess. Roads blocked off, my drivers kept canceling on me even though I booked my Uber early that morning, they kept messaging me and they didn't know how to get in to the rideshare area. They need to ramp up security because lots of random drivers trying to pick people up.

Been to the new Moody center twice now for the fluffy show and the Marc Anthony concert. both shows were great and it looks like you can't go wrong with seats. It seems like every angle is a good choice. There is a section "Dell club" that is nice and has their own vendors in the lounge area for drinks and food. We tried the chicken tenders and fries and it was pretty good. Expensive! lol but good. They have areas where you can take selfies as well. Looking forward to checking out more events there.

I really enjoyed both experiences at the new Moody Center this year. (We joke that there are ten Moody buildings.)The Spurs game was wonderful. Very clean and spanking new. Also the pedestrian traffic flow was very well organized. Great view from anywhere. The Missy Elliott Out of the World concert was intimate and incorporated digital images in the background and ceiling. The sound was exceptional. Food choices were pretty phenomenal for stadium dinner fare. Parking has always been easy if you walk a few blocks in any direction. Looking forward to going to another Spurs game in 2025!
