Mission Burger

This place is awesome! A lot of places now have a veggie or vegan burger option on the menu, and they're just fine. I didn't realize this place is ALL vegan, so they really know how to do the burger right and make you not miss a beef burger. That's big for me as someone who recently started eating plant based. The service was also really great. Michael was kind and nice to talk to, and offered me help as a first time customer. They also give you a free chocolate chip cookie when you order! The burger was a classic super messy very filling double cheeseburger. The onion rings were cooked perfectly. The meal + tip was actually pretty pricy. Almost $30, which didn't include a drink because you have to buy one from the convenience store side. Overall, I recommend trying this place and bringing non-vegans too. They won't be disappointed! The menu has a lot of variety too, so there is a lot to try. I'll be back for sure.

This place truly is a bomb! I became vegetarian two years ago, and it was hard to find a good food vegetarian/vegan burgers. Mission burger hits the spot for sure! My husband and I ordered -mission burger with grilled onion -chicken bacon ranch sandwich-side of garlic fries All the items we got were amazing. The burgers were juicy and they were so flavorful! The staff here is awesome as well. She was so kind, as we walked in, she greeted us with a warm chocolate chip cookies. And she also explained the menu and recommendation very well to us as it was our first timing coming here.10/10 recommended this place if you are looking for a good vegan burgers! Well if you are looking for a good burger in general! It's inside of the River City Market, so there are not lots of tables for sit down meal, but they pack everything in a paper bag so you can take it to go easily. Oh and the burger wrapper made it so easy to eat! It can get pretty messy to eat a burger, but their wrapper prevented my burger from disassembling completely!It's the little things that matter, if you know what I mean! Anyhow, if you are in the search of good burger, come to mission burger! You will not be disappointed!

Twas first time coming by here! Welcome by a friendly staff and she gave us a cookie !! Delicious vegan cookie with crispy outside and subtly soft inside! While we were looking at the menu, the friendly lady explained which ones are good and popular ones so we took her recommendations!The mission burger is apparently go to one if you don't know what to get as it's the most popular one there! My wife got it and it was very delicious! You put the info into kiosk and you can accommodate the toppings like grill onions instead of raw one etc! I like their style!I got a chicken bacon one and it was good but I prefer mission burger for me! Also we got a box of garlic fries and the lady gave us sweet garlic mustard sauce! Quite yummy combo!Overall, we had a great experience and definitely love to be back here!Keep up the good and healthy work!Cheers

Everything here is vegetarian or vegan, but the menu has much to offer. The Reuben is HUGE and certainly satisfied my craving for that type sandwich (which I haven't had for years). The burgers are really good, too. The patties are thin, which is why a "double meat" burger is not so big you can't eat it all.The restaurant is inside of a convenience store, so you can buy your chips -- if you prefer them over fries -- and sodas or beer right there. My meal was very tasty and I'll definitely go back.

Terrific spot- one of the best vegan burgers I've ever had! The bun is toasted to perfection; the bacon is crispy which I feel is hard to come by for vegan bacon. All of the sauces are great. Really kind and friendly staff and owner on top of that!

Tried this place after seeing it all over my reels and in the Uber Eats app. It's an all vegan restaurant inside River city market, and they have weekly specials. As a vegetarian I never thought I would be able to try a birria taco and they have it so well. It tastes so flavorful and texturally seems like the closest substitute to meat. Normally I'm not a fan of fake meat but the birria and the consommé were so flavorful that I couldn't stop eating it. If I had one flaw, it would generally be that melted vegan cheese has a much rubberier texture than regular cheese so I wasn't as big of the fan of the vegan cheese in there.

The restaurant is located inside a simple convenience store so don't expect any frills. But food is amazing. Absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic. The person at the counter explained everything in detail and answered various questions. Garlic fries were the best ever. We ordered two burgers, Mission burger and Brisket. Both were top notch. 10 out of 10. Cannot wait to go back.

I ordered the brisket sandwich, it was amazing. I'm looking forward to trying out more items on their menu at the new location. The owner, Michael, is so friendly and sweet. I certainly recommend the restaurant to any vegetarian looking for great quality food and exceptional service.

cannot recommend this place enough! extremely satisfying food, and the head chef was very kind and provided free cookies! Their burger sauces and queso are phenomenal! The "meat" is very fulfilling, and I would wholeheartedly return when I come back to Austin. I recommend their fiesta burger, NY chopped cheese, garlic par' fries, and their version of "animal fries". Only critiques are that there is not that much seating available inside, but there is a table outside. Also, if you are not looking for a "meat alternative" and would prefer something like a black-bean burger, this spot may not cater to that.

Seeing such high reviews for such a deserving place is amazing.This used to be an old vegan chicken spot and realized we were at the same location when we pulled up. Upon arriving we order at the kiosk, grab a number and wait. There was a tad bit of a wait but I assume the owner, came around and handed out free cookies while we wait. They were nice and soft.We grabbed the BLT sandwich for myself and the BBQ plate for my boyfriend.BLT: wow the "Bacon" - I've had vegan bacon in my life but this one was the most similar to real thing. I am not vegan but could live eating this kind of bacon forever. Extra tomato and lots of mayo, but I'm a mayo girly.BBQ exceeded our expectations - they smoke the brisket for 3 hours! And wow it sure tastes like it. The sides are amazing too.Overall service was incredible, being checked on by the owner while balancing the rush of people. This place deserves all the hype. Wish there was more seating inside as it's in a market type vibe, but all good.
