Not just the best ice cream / milkshake in Austin. This is legit the best in America. Every shake is hand crafted with care and you can really taste the labor of love in each creation. True artisans.

Absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite milkshakes in and outside of Austin. They do one thing and they do it right. The only option on the menu here are frosty blended beverages, with options for both the mild and wild of disposition. Taking inspiration from galactic sources, your kicked up classics are the Chocolate or Vanilla Eclipse, which both come adorned with a dark chocolate crescent moon, adorned with almonds and edible glitter. While I personally default to the Oreo Borealis which hits that sweet mint-chip spot thanks to homemade peppermint syrup, coarsely crushed sandwich cookies, and the critical garnish of star-shaped food-grade confetti, the seasonal specials are out of this world. In the frigid days of winter, it would be worth the chill to snag the North Star, a rich and creamy eggnog blend that's topped with a genuine meringue snowperson. These nondairy masters go above and beyond the average options, while still churning out pitch-perfect nostalgic treats. You definitely don't need to be vegan to appreciate the artistry and bold flavors happening in this tiny trailer.

I discovered this food truck incidentally while planning to try tacos and pizza from other food trucks in the same area. With my sweet tooth, I couldn't say no to the enticing milkshakes they had on their menu, from strawberry lemon to violet (blueberry lavender with edible flowers). You can either get a 12oz ($7.31 with tax) or 16oz ($9) adding either vanilla or chocolate to the flavor options on the menu. I tried the grackle massacre because not gonna lie, I just wanted the chocolate pentagram. The shake had a rich chocolate flavor with a bit of the chipotle spice hitting towards the end. Good service with a minimal wait time.

DEEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!! I had the star-berry lemon cloud and it was amazing! The base ice cream is coconut milk and almond milk so it won't hurt your tummy if you can't do dairy but it has a wonderfully creamy texture. The meringues melt in your mouth like pillowy clouds. It's all vegan and the baked goods are from a gluten free bakery. I'm not vegan or gluten free and I didn't feel like I was sacrificing anything while enjoying this.

I really enjoyed this! I had no idea it existed. We came for Possum Pizza. And behold! A vegan milkshake place. It took us a while to realize this but all of the food trucks in this lot are vegan. Which is absolutely amazing. I love that I could go to different food trucks and be able to eat at each one. I almost did but figured a pizza and a milkshake was enough. The customer service was amazing. The parking lot has ample space. We ordered the chocolate eclipse. If you're a chelate lover this is the drink for you. It was definitely a chocolate overload. With different textures and a ton of chocolate. I'm not the hugest fan of chocolate so after a while it was a lot. But my fiancé enjoyed. I definitely need to come back and try another amazing flavor they have a lot of cool ones to choose from too.

First off, YUM! I've been wanting to try this place for what feels like forever. Glad I got off my butt and did! It's located in an area with a bunch of vegan food trucks so you can get dinner and enjoy this as the dessert. There is a huge parking lot it is next to as well which was great!I got one of their seasonal flavors (these change every few weeks) and it had pumpkin, cinnamon, and all other sorts of fall flavored goodness. I loved that there was a nice crunchy shortbread on top and there were also crunchy bits mixed into the shake as well which I loved!

Don't leave this trailer park without one of these delicious shakes. Just don't. Located among several vegan food trucks, Milky Way shines a beacon of sugary goodness for all. I'm not a vegan, but my daughter takes a class in the area and I end up hanging here. Normally, I think vegan shakes taste like sawdust, but theirs are actually creamy. I get the Oreo one and it is epic!!! So refreshing especially on a hot day.

Hands down the best milkshakes in Austin... and they're vegan! Every shake tastes slightly coconuty and delicious, and they are located in a great vegan food truck park too! They always have the most innovative specials - the Extra Terrestrial is my all-time favorite.
