One of my favorite coffee places in Austin, the coffee is smooth and not bitter. The employees are super helpful and knowledgeable about their menu- any time they have suggested for me to try something I try it and I am happy with the coffee. It's a nice place to get work done on the computer, can be pretty crowded in the morning so get there early if you need a good spot

Saw some pretty good reviews for this place so I wanted to stop by and try it out! On a Saturday afternoon, line was about 15 mins long, but it was moving. Took a bit for drinks to be made too so this might not be the best place if you're in a rush. Iced matcha latte: 1/5, I was really disappointed bc the reviews made it seem like this was really good but all it tasted like was milk with a molecule of matcha. Sucked that it was nearly $7 for just green whole milk Cereal cold brew: 5/5, fiancé loved it and I tried a bit and it was really tasty! Would highly recommend this drink if you're looking for a sweet coffee!

This location is a cool historic house turned coffee shop. The people who work here have a cool vibe. They can be a little slow getting through a big line, but this isn't Starbucks, and I wouldn't expect them to be. It's a slower thing. The coffee is good, but sometimes it's cold or lukewarm. To boot, the coffee shop is always freezing cold (It is to get people to leave so it isn't so crowded). If you don't want a big mug (which makes the coffee cold), you'll have to pay another $1.70 for a paper cup. All in all, the shop feels like it's at war with its customers. They want people to come and go to sell more stuff, but the house itself is inviting and friendly, with good light and a good location. That draws coffee shop workers, which in turn makes them resent the people they're attracting.

Friendly, accurate, and fast service, I got an iced latte with cinnamon that tasted delicious and had just the right amount of cinnamon. The muffin had great flavor and a decent amount of blueberries sprinkled in, but it was Super crumbly so watch out for that if you're having a bite while reading like I was because it got everywhere. It was clean and fairly quiet inside for the mass amount of people that were there on every surface trying to work. There were definitely not enough plugs for those with laptops and the seating is for more casual than work environment. I sat outside and read on one of the many tables provided. There is close parking just feet away and it can get very busy and noisy to sit outside, but there is a lot of shade. I also wish the music played outside to help muffle the traffic sounds. They sell lots of options of their own roasts right by the checkout counter. They also have various options of other canned and bottled drinks if coffee is not your jam.

This was my first time visiting this coffee shop and I really enjoyed it! It felt very open and spacious even though there wasn't as much seating. I ordered the matcha latte with lavender and I don't know what it was but it was probably one of the best ones I've had in Austin! Service was extremely fast and enjoyable, the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 is because of the furniture they had in the seating room. I sat in the big long bench by the door and where they made the drinks and anytime anyone set on it, it would make me jump. It was like a seesaw almost. I wouldn't have mind it if it didn't make a popping noise every time and since this is the bench by the bar, any time anyone was waiting on their drink/food they'd sit at the bench so I was "jumping" almost every minute and it got really annoying, but there was no where else to sit. I'd probably give this place a try again!

Merit Coffee has a great work environment. It is packed with people working on their laptops. There are outlets, good wifi, and a nice ambience. The parking lot is tight with super small spaces at this Triangle location. I got the iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I really liked. I have heard that their matcha lattes are excellent here, so I definitely recommend checking it out.

Traditionally I would go with a basic latte but I saw something different and wanted to give it a try. It had fruity pebbles and some milk. It was good and worth trying if you liked fruity pebbles growing up. The place was packed but plenty of seats and has wifi which we saw a lot of people doing.Service was quick and fast, plenty of baked goods and tacos from taco deli but wasn't hungry. Seemed liked the place to go after workouts as many were there in their yoga attire. Will go back .

We stopped in at merit on a Sunday morning while we are out doing our errands. This was place was very busy that morning. They managed to work through the line pretty quickly though. I got an order of their subzero which is their frozen cold brew. It tasted a lot like a coffee slushie which was really delicious. It was something different and unique that hadn't had before. It was a super cool place with a laid back vibe that I could see myself spending an afternoon or a morning at.

Great place to do some work and grab some coffee! I had a fall harvest latte and thought it was great. There's a decent amount of tables and seating to get some work done or chill. Definitely a cozy place

It would be cool if I didn't have to wait in line 15 minutes every time I came here. I know what you're thinking: "wow, it's that busy!"Wrong. They're just understaffed. It doesn't matter if it's 1 person ahead of me or 6. It's wild. I avoid the line by ordering ahead, but a lot of the time it's not turned on in the morning. Great coffee, though.
