The service is terrible. Always long wait. I'm giving 3 stars bc the food is ok. I like their biscuits. It took 25 minutes today to get our food when people who arrived after us (bigger parties) got served 5 minutes before us. Last time we were here, my fried chicken was still pink inside so I sworn I'd never be back. My waffles were soggy and strawberries weren't fresh looking. There was still a big piece of avocado skin on the avocado piece. I really like their biscuits though

Been here a few times now, we love it! Great food and coffee and we don't mind picking up our dirty dishes...friendly working crew! (I stop by alone and feel comfortable, Discount Tire is walking distance!)WISH WE COULD COMMENT ON REVIEWS!! You order in line, get a table...NOT RACIST! Some people are too quick to judge! It's a restaurant! A bit different but NOT EVEN ASKING FOR TIPS! TRY Maple Street Biscuit, more than biscuits have HEALTHY options and FRIENDLY SERVICE

My litmus test for a good eatery? It's when you go in 20 - 30 minutes before a restaurant closes and they're congenial and helpful. Case in point--Bee Cave's Maple Street Biscuit Company. Given that I'd never been there before, I had a lot of questions about the menu. The helpful attendant behind the counter, Skyler, was a complete Chatty Cathy. She 1) knew the menu front to back and 2) wasn't shy about sharing her favorite dishes. We ordered a random smorgasbord of items, including their famed biscuits and gravy (tasty and decadent!) and a Squawking Goat sandwich (pepper jelly for the win!). Skylar even offered up a free frosted chocolate chip biscuit for being first-timers. I couldn't help but notice the palpable energy in the restaurant. The employees were all joking around while they prepared to close. The good-natured manager delivered our food with a smile. Clearly, the culture in this biscuit joint is hoppin'. On our way out the door, Skylar even gave us a complimentary dozen biscuits to go. "Come back soon!" she yelled. Trust and believe, we will!

My wife and I stopped in for a quick breakfast on Monday morning. The restaurant staff were super friendly and very helpful with the menu. The restaurant was clean. It was somewhat busy inside. We chose to sit outside on their patio. I ordered the keto breakfast bowl that I thought was delicious. It came with two eggs, mushroom, spinach, goat cheese, bacon avocado and tomatoes. I'd order it again! The flavors were great! My wife ordered two eggs, biscuit, bacon and hash browns. The hash brows were fried and had a nice crunch to it! So good! The staff also brought us out biscuits and gravy on the house. We'll be back for sure!

MSBC is a small chain breakfast/brunch/lunch outfit with a newish outlet in Bee Cave. It's physically comfortable with a hometown dinner vibe. The staff is well-coached and extremely friendly and helpful. It's counter service, but prompt. Their metier is, wait for it . . .biscuits. In all sorts of forms and combos. Though they do have tacos, waffles and some bowls. And some sides. All of maybe more breakfast and brunch oriented. My companion decided on an order of their fried green tomatoes and some bacon. The tomatoes were credible - good batter and not over fried. However, it's not the season here for tomatoes, but that's not the cafe's fault. The bacon was thick cut and cooked to a medium crunch. Again, credible.I opted to test their core menu and ordered the Squawking Goat biscuit - a large biscuit with a good sized fried chicken breast, a slab of goat cheese and pepper jelly. Filling and reasonably tasty. The pepper jelly makes it a sweet, zingy plus savory flavor profile, with the contrast between the jelly and the cheese a pleasant feature. If we hadn't each had a mimosa (slightly watery, not cold enough and mediocre), it would have been reasonably priced for this level of fare. Next time I'll stick more to their concept and have coffee. Good for a quick in and out of a morning.

I literally eat here at least 2x a month even with the frequent mistakes. And I was STILL singing y'all's praises to the district manager the last time I was in just less than a month ago. Well I am unsure what happened between then and now with the quality and service. NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE PHONE HERE FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS. WHY IDK BUT IT'S UNACCEPTABLE. I had to write online to receive a refund and politely asked for a phone call for an explanation thinking they were closed for the holiday. That didn't happen but I did receive the refund. It will be a while before I return bc perhaps they are opening too many Maple Streets to concentrate on the main street of FM 620! All I wanted was a grit bowl with fried chicken instead of steak sheesh!

As a general rule, I'm anti-$12 biscuits. But hell, these are pretty good. We've driven past Maple St. hundreds of times and keep saying "one morning, we need to try them out." Well, that morning was this morning. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks, which is both good and bad. It's one large open space, so when several families all having crying children early on a Saturday morning it's...suboptimal. Despite the line being relatively short, one of the cashiers was having difficulty ringing people up, so we stood in line for quite a while. That being said, our biscuits came out super quick. The Iron Goat, true to its name, was among the best biscuits I've ever had. Two biscuits and a coffee will run you close to $30, which ain't cheap. I think the play here is popping in, splitting a biscuit and treating it like a high-end snack.

This place is amazing. Has kind of a chain restraint feel to it when you walk in. But that should not stop anyone from coming in and enjoying their delicious biscuits and gravy. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, and most favorite, they have shots of espresso. Yes, there are fresh shots of great tasting espresso.I'm usually not in this neighborhood, but I know from here out if I am, this is where I am going. The way the call you order is by your talent you have. No name... no regular David, your order is ready. No, it's backfip David to them or karaoke david. Which makes calling orders so unique. Very fun.We had a big group of guys to come eat, and we we able to fill ourselves for under a $100. 6 guys, which is fairly inexpensive for fresh made ingredients.
