Disclaimer: This review is solely based on the gelato!I was craving a quick dessert and saw the mini-gelato stand nestled inside of this Italian restaurant. The staff were very helpful and let me taste the two flavors I was torn between. They were also very generous with the servings which I appreciated very much! The gelato itself was very creamy and decadent. Just what I wanted :)I hope to go back and try the food to share a full review soon!

A chain restaurant that does a pretty darn good job. The bread served at the table is fabulous. This is casual dinner as you order your food & then sit down. They bring out your food in a timely fashion.

"Ordered the Italian salad with a side of shrimp because, you know, carbs are my mortal enemy right now. Let me tell you, the salad was a surprise hit--like the indie film you weren't expecting to love. The house vinaigrette had this mild sweet tang that made my taste buds do a happy dance. The onions, cheese, and what I'm 95% sure was hominy (who knew?) were like a perfectly balanced squad of flavor. A true underdog story. The shrimp? Well, it was shrimp. Sizzled in butter, obviously delicious, because when has butter ever let anyone down? And the portion was surprisingly generous, so my wallet didn't cry either.Would I come back? Oh, absolutely. While I was being virtuous with my carb-conscious choices, my family was out here devouring pizza, baked ziti, and desserts from their Italian bakery like they were living in a Food Network special. If this salad was that good, I can only imagine the level of culinary witchcraft happening in the carb-loaded section of the menu. 10/10 would risk my diet for their bakery next time."

Came here to celebrate a birthday in a Friday night . We had never been here before, it had good reviews and we were eager to try it out. Although the restaurant was busy, it is very spacious and there were plenty of tables to sit at inside and out . The noise level was high as there were numerous children running around. The ordering system is very quick, walk up to the counter, tell the cashier , who doesn't know a thing about the menu, what you want, get your drinks and order number and have a seat. We ordered two appetizers, the fried calamari/zucchini, and the bruschetta. Our entree's were the lasagna with sausage, pasta Alfredo with shrimp, and the Carnivore pizza. One of the numerous servers brought us some very good focaccia bread to our table. So we assumed that we would be brought out the appetizers before our entrees which happens at every restaurant we've been too. Nope, it was all brought out together. Actually our entrees arrived at our table a few minutes before the appetizers. Talk about a crowded table..So we started in on our appetizers so our entrees could get cold... the calamari/zucchini were just ok, the marinara sauce on the side was excellent. The bruschetta was very tasty. My pizza was a thin crust pie which I usually enjoy. But the crust was a bit soggy, maybe from the time waited to eat it or that it had meat on it which has a lot of moisture. The pizza was enjoyable, especially the sliced meatballs on top which were outstanding! The Alfredo was ok, with about 5 prawns on top. The lasagna was enjoyed. All in all, it was decent food. The ordering system is great as is the speed in getting your food. It is a very family friendly place . This is not a restaurant that I would make plans on going to unless I lived in the immediate area, which I don't.

Good Italian food at the Triangle. Order at the counter. I've had the Fettuccini Alfredo & the cheese ravioli - both were very good. It's loud - outdoor seating is available, also.Parking is a mess here, so be prepared to walk.

Came here for a fundraiser and the cashier was super crazy rude. Everything else seems great. I rate based on likelihood to return tho and probably won't go thru that excruciating process again

I can't say enough out Mandola's Italian Kitchen. One of my favorite Italian food choices. It's not your ordinary Italian Restaurant. You order your meal at the counter, find your seat. Your server finds you with your number flag, bringing your amazing meals. Daily specials are available, so do take advantage of the price value. I've enjoyed everything I've had here. Scampi, Ziti, Margarita Pizza. They also have an amazing dessert case too. I love their pick up process. Come thru the side door and avoid the mob waiting for seating during peak periods (Fri night-Sunday night). They is a pick up area, pay and exit the side door again. All in all, you'll have a nice time dining here. Michael C. - Georgetown
