Lively area with packed environment and had a 30 min wait but worth it. It was very flavorful.Seating was great as they weren't close tables which is great, and it was spacious booth given for us even just for 3!Chips were delicious and we got fondido which was so filling and flavorful.Service was also quick for drinks and one off items. Enchilada were so cheesy in a good way and not cheaper out like other places. Chicken was also flavorfulDessert I got a birthday one on the house on top of what I wanted. Finished it all even if I didn't need to but it was too good.It's our go to spot now

I consider myself to be a tortilla and beef fajita connoisseur. I have gotta tell you all if you want beef fajitas this is the place to go in Austin. A bit pricey but the meat was juicy, tender and charred just right. The tortillas are what you expect to find at Pappasito's, Ninfa's and Lupe Tortillas - home made and fresh.Our server, Betty, was excellent!The other staff was great!The bathroom was clean.The restaurant was spacious and clean.I hate to say good things about this place because the wait might be long next time.

Had a great dinner here with friends while visiting Austin! Loved the fun decor. We were seated right away and our server was very helpful & attentive. Started with delicious chips, queso and salsa (and some at the table asked for hotter salsa which was also delicious!) I had a "half and half" margarita which is half frozen and half not frozen - - genius and I want to order margaritas that way forever! The table shared chicken and steak fajitas and they were delicious - tender and flavorful meat, great flour and corn tortillas, and good sides (black beans, charro beans, abuelita rice and mixed veggies).

I had no idea that Mama Betty's does brunch on the weekends! It was so good! I've love the place since they opened, and I met the family who runs it, and they just keep giving me reasons to love them more. Brunch cocktails! The raspberry mimosa was delicious and light. I'm not usually a morning drinker, but I do love a good mimosa. I got the Cinthya's Vasquez #3 Deluxe, and the barbacoa was delicious! I ordered my eggs fried over medium, and they were perfectly cooked. I asked for the potatoes to be seasoned only with salt and pepper, and they were. I didn't know the plate came with refried beans, but they were a delicious bonus. I will definitely be back for brunch here again! I've always had amazing service here, and this time was no different. You can't be this place for a cheery atmosphere, and there is a huge outdoor seating area if you prefer that.

Happy hour was very affordable and the margaritas were pretty good. The chicken in the flautas had great flavor but it was hard like shredded rubber I could not even eat them. Disappointing since their enchiladas and fajitas are fantastic!!

Love this place. Excellent margaritas and fantastic food. We come here for brunch. The only downfall is that they refuse to allow you to order breakfast tacos a la carte. You have to get the full plate with extra stuff you may not want. They have an outside play area with turf so kids love to play on patio. We personally love eating on the deck outside. Sometimes they have a band which makes the experience top notch!

Best TexMex in the far Northside. This place never falls me on their quality of food and positive energy (music) during my dining. Bonus for to note and making this place a place to come and enjoy, their Tortillas are made in House. Happy hour is nice here to experience.

Been here so many times now and also love the ambience, service , quality of food and everything ! This ones like a neighborhood restaurant for me as it's super close to us. It has a beautiful patio which we love - as a toddler mom it works best for us to entertain our little one and enjoy a great meal and drinks ! Talking about drinks - lots of different things to try and I always love their martini ! Their salsa are amazing as well as their homemade chips and tortillas - food portion size is great as well. Staff is always sweet and service is top notch - hostess always checking any paying attention as well as service is quick .This is a great choice specially if you love for a Tex-Mex restaurant especially if you want flavors that pop. Every visit has been exceptional ! Lots of parking available in the lot ! Definitely Definitely recommend .
