The Mystery Meal of LegendsOne night, after getting absolutely hammered and thoroughly annoying my wife, we stumbled back to the hotel. She was upset, I was still drinking (because clearly, I make great decisions), and somewhere in my hazy brilliance, I ordered hot dogs from this spot.The next morning, I woke up confused, dehydrated, and with no memory of the previous night's meal. But here's the kicker--my wife, still irritated, filled in the blanks. Apparently, I ordered two hot dogs for myself and one for her. Not only did I inhale my two, but I also devoured hers like a man possessed.Do I remember the taste? Nope. Do I know what was on them? Not a clue. But if I ate three hot dogs that quickly, they must have been incredible. So, 5 stars, Mad Dogs. You fed a drunk man, absorbed his marital tension, and left a lasting impression--even if it's one I can't actually recall. Bravo.

I wanted to try this place after seeing the Houston ones pop up. Long story short, this spot is for the hungover college kids or anyone with the munchies willing to go here.Outside advertises some NFT art while the inside has a big cartoon mural and blasts music so loud that maybe it's for the best that they recommend the self serve kiosk to input your order. People were nice enough.I tried the chili cheese dog (one spicy and one not), elote fries, regular fries, and Philly cheesesteak burger (monthly special). The spicy frank is extremely unspicy, pretty much the same as a regular frank. The entire chili cheese dog was.... Okay. There's a bit of a meaty aftertaste with an odd factory-ness similar to a Sonic hotdog. It's a good size and filling but not my favorite. The Philly cheesesteak burger was honestly better even though I'd rather have those mall Philly cheesesteaks. There's just some odd aftertaste to all of their meat or cheese or something that isn't strong enough to hate the food, but prevalent enough to not want to frequent the restaurant. The fries are the best part. It has that textured and crispy coat that I love. But getting the elote fries.... The taste isn't bad but they definitely let their corn sit because it's a bit touch and old. Even if you don't taste it yet, it's visually obvious with the size, firmness, and brownish color. They might air dry the corn to remove the moisture so the fries don't get soggy, but it seems overly aged and a bit hard to enjoy the elote when it doesn't compare to the fries.Most everything is $8-10. Great price but also not the best quality. Am I happier with a Costco hotdog and pay much less? Yeah, but at least the food looks fun and the hours span well into after-bar times.

Do not trust this business!!Got home late after a night out and wanted some take out. This was one of the only places open and they were running a special. Buy one get one free. Perfect! I ordered a burger (17.99) that was on special and some loaded fries(19.99) that were also on special. I also got a small regular fries (4.99) Thinking this was a little pricey, but I was getting two so let's do it. They then charged me twice for both the special items 35.98 for the burgers and 39.98 for the fries. Bring my subtotal to 80.95$ this is where they gave me half off 37.98. So I paid full price for my order plus the extra taxes and increased tip percentage. I unfortunately didn't catch it at the time and just placed the order. My advice would be to spend your money at a more reputable business, we vote with our dollars.

We were a little confused at first bc the building is somewhat off to the side but it is across from crystal works and Enfield nails in a small stand alone building. The interior is very casual and there is a large menu on the wall when you walk in. Then the counter has a screen for you to self place and order. The order process does ask for a tip at the end which is always odd to me when the process is self order. We were the only people in the restaurant for a few minutes and it still took quite a while for the food to come out. After about 30 minutes, or more, I asked if they had received our order and they said "oh yes sorry it's right here" which was pretty odd. Their self titled "Mad dog" is a pretty obvious knock off of yo-yos from Houston and ditty dog. It did not live up to our expectations. The dog comes with a curry ketchup which definitely had more curry flavor than ketchup. Even with the combination of cream cheese, crunchy onion, and the sauces, the hot dog only tastes like curry. I also ordered a smash burger which definitely had the look and taste of a classic smash burger but there were no onions. My friend's order also had no onions so I'm assuming they ran out? The french fries were a little cold but had a great crunch still. I didn't see any ketchup available for the fries but I thankfully used my friends smash sauce. I had high hopes for this place but the food, service, and experience overall was quite subpar.

Mad Dogs is collocated with midnight cravings so expect a crowd. You can self order which makes the ordering process quick and easy.The wait for the burger was over an hour for a single smash burger. The burger wasn't worth the wait but if you decide to order a burger, buy more than one because the burgers are small. While the burger was considered a smash burger, I felt like I stuck with crumbles. The hotdogs did look tasty, I was kinda sad I didn't get one.If all else fails, get the dessert from midnight cravings.

This is not your typical hotdog or smothered fries. Headed to one place but ended up at mad dogs after my boyfriend decided that he wanted a hotdog. He searched and search online and came upon Mad dogs, which had a great review and we are just here to add to it. The experience was simple and yet amazing. The flavor was imp Actable and each bite was super yummy. He ordered the hotdog and I ordered the Smashburger fries. When you get food from restaurants, do you want to get it for the value of a dollar they are asking. They are not shy of giving you what you need for the cost of our food. There was very little interaction with the staffing, but they were present and available to assist with any questions. I love to see that this small business has joined with another business which is called midnight snack. The snacks look amazing and to die for. We were so full from mad dog we didn't order from midnight snack, but we are excited to know that they are open late. I'm sure one of these nights.

The best gourmet hot dogs you can find anywhere. Try the smash burgers too! Super friendly staff and great service. Cool little spot in downtown

I don't know why you guys lying about buy one get one free I never get my second one free and it's not the first time happened to me this is not acceptable at all this is the last time for me order from there. Food looks so soggy.

The service was unimaginable, just great on every level. This was my first experience after having them saved on Apple Maps for months on end. My food was carefully prepared and came out fresh with nothing unaccounted for...even the extra napkins. In terms of ambiance I would say it's geared towards a crowd who wants a quick hearty bite to eat or possibly a sweet treat. I recommend the Elote fries, your stomach will thank you.

Not sure what place y'all are going to w/ the good reviews, but i went here last night at 2am (saturday) after seeing the hype on TT and they said they were closed! only doing online orders. so I paid $25 for a hot dog and fries and when i say it was the grossest hot dog and didn't even look what they advertise they are selling. the fries were ok. i also ended up throwing it all up the next morning because it made my stomach hurt so bad and it tasted just as bad coming up as it did going down. the place is gross and dirty and the staff was rude asf didn't even acknowledge the 10 people waiting for their orders. (which EVERYONE was complaining not just us) just horrible. never going back. save your money or go to whataburger.
