I've been coming to Lustre Pearl for years, since around when it opened. It's a great open bar area with lots of seating to hang out with a drink in South Austin. This spot and neighboring Moontower Salon are actually my and my friends' go-to hang spots when we drink if we want something outdoor and low key. They also have a pool table which is nice; I've never personally used it because there's always someone else using it, but it's nice that it's there! The patio is really large and inviting with plenty of shady spots too if the sun is still up and it's hot. Never had a bad experience with the service here either - you just order at the bar.Glad this spot is here since South Austin doesn't have a lot of larger bars!

This review is a long time coming. Lustre Pearl as a bar seems to have a lot going for it. Good bartenders, spacious back yard, and decent food trucks. Las Abuelas as well as Not A Damn Chance are both solid options. It's a pretty great night hang, a solid choice to grab some drinks with friends after work. My review is centered around the mornings. I absolutely love good coffee. Praxis has some of the best coffee in Austin. Here's the rub: Since Praxis is located at the Menchaca road location of Lustre Pearl, you'd think that it's a match made in heaven: Amazing coffee, space out back to have a conversation or read a book. Not the case. It turns out that due to Lustre Pearl's insane love of leaf blowers, loud music, and sports television, AT 9AM IN THE MORNING, this little sanctuary of repose pretty much disappoints. To be 100% fair, it doesn't happen every time I'm there. If you're like me, if you enjoy a little peace and quiet in the morning, maybe some gentle time to mellow out before your day gets rolling, I cannot recommend taling a chance on this place. I heartily recommend getting your coffee from Praxis to go, and hang out in a park. Lustre Pearl on Menchaca has got to be one of the most tone-deaf, vibe-deaf, and ambiance-deaf places in the morning. And it's a shame. All it would take to fix it is this:Wait until 11AM to do the leaf-blowing. Wait til 11AM to turn on the music. Wait until 11AM to turn on the TV screen. Simple. Until that happens, get your coffee to go.

This is a fun hangout located on Menchaca Rd. Stopped by for happy hour and had a few margaritas. They have a variety of fun games inside and we played darts. Just have to leave an ID to get the darts. There is inside and outside areas to sit and enjoy drinks and food. The establishment has TVs incase you want to watch sporting events. There are a variety of food trucks located on the property including NADC burger for food option. Overall a fun place to relax and hang out with friends with a variety of game, drink and food options.

Lustre Pearl South is a cool spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's somewhere you can go with a big group and never have to worry about finding space. My only complaint is a Lonestar beer was $4.25. A Lonestar should never cost that much. The bartenders are friendly and there are plenty of activities inside such as pool, darts, and TVs to watch games. It's a casual vibe with good music and a perfect place to chill on a sunny day. It's also family friendly. Parking can be a little tricky, as with every other bar on Menchaca. I think all the bars on Menchaca should come together to build a large parking lot.

Lustre Pearl South is a great place to grab a drink with friends or family! They frequently have live music, they serve local craft and non-local beers, and there is plenty of seating and food options via food trucks. Bartenders are nice and attentive, and service is pretty speedy! Plus, they often have cool vendor markets on the weekends, which is nice if you like to shop with local, small businesses! Overall, a great place to check out if you are in the area!

Puppies, sports, and good drinks... what more could you ask for? Lustre Pearl is probably my favorite spot in south Austin! The bartenders are always nice and they make great drinks!I love how much space they have and the different areas to appease a diverse group of clientele. They have two main bar areas. One is a big room with darts, a pool table, lots of seating, and a ton of tvs. It is perfect for watching sports! They will also have live music in there sometimes. The other indoor area is more of those who want away from the televisions. Think: first date spot. They have a HUGE outdoor area with a bunch of big oak trees and a large screen for, yeah you guessed it, sports. I am a lover of all Lustres, but I think the south is my favorite.

There was one bartender who would not serve me at and the other bartender who had a longer line said how can I help you.... The Caucasian bartender was always willing to serve me even when he had a line. Now I am Latino and the Latino bartender would not serve me and this was my first and last time there... the Latino bartender was to busy with his buddies.... Again I am Latino.... Sad and I will never go back.... Not recommend for Latinos!!!

This place is great!! Love going here with the kiddos. Except there are entirely too many people who don't have kids who come here. Like why don't yall go to a non kid bar and let our kiddos enjoy their parents getting a little tipsy before getting an Uber home. Geez! People without kids always ruin a good time!!

It was a cold and wet day so we took cover inside. The place is huge with giant television behind the stage. Band was excellent and the seating is comfortable.

Seems like a nice place for people to "hang out". Some of the food truck prices were a little inflated for My taste.
