What can I say? I love Lovebirds! Everything is tip-top from the swanky interior design, lovely patios, and delish frozens to the Photo Booth that's actually its own room.The cocktails are like drinkable works of art.Pretty rad to be able to have photos sent to your phone.Another dog-friendly establishment that treated our little guy with care and respect.All-around charm. Great place to take friends visiting from other cities.

Lovebirds is an incredible bar that delivers an unforgettable experience! The drinks are not only well-crafted but also pack a delightful punch. The layout and design of the space are stunning, creating the perfect atmosphere. And let's not forget the staff--they're absolutely fantastic! It's the ideal spot to sip on delicious cocktails, unwind, and soak in the vibrant energy while doing some top-notch people-watching in the heart of East Austin. You won't want to miss out on this gem!

Would I recommend this spot to everyone? No. Would I recommend this spot to anyone feeling like their best she-self? Absolutely! Super cute spot that really screams, "girls run the world". A perfect spot for a ladies happy hour, or even a sophisticated bachelorette. The vibe is groovy and creative, as are the drink selections. Oh, and there's also a free photo booth carved in a wall. Reminds me of Harry Potter's closet room, but all glammed up by a diva version of Xzibit on "Pimp My Ride". Service was great, drinks made to order. I swear I intended to try two different drinks, but I enjoyed the Ball and Chain so much, I got it again. I'd describe it as a whiskey sour, with a head of foam for creaminess. I will disclose, however, the drink (for $14) was quite small and the second bartender made it sweeter than the first...the first was made wonderfully by Saz. Seems like some consistency is needed. Happy Hour is long, 3-7 PM which will save you $2 off most (almost all) choices. If you're looking for a bar happy hour, this may be out of the way as it is far down East Caesar Chavez, but if you're looking for some cute cocktails with your she-friends, check it out!

This is my first time at Love Birds. Great atmosphere! Really awesome aesthetic they created inside. Giving this place a 4 out of 5 because the drinks were just not giving what they should have. I found them really underwhelming. I ordered a Ball and Chain and my partner ordered a Mai Tai. Both were a little lackluster. However, service is quick, and the bartenders are friendly! I love the vibe they've created, and there's tons of space to sit outside, as well. No parking on site, but it's easy to find (free) street parking nearby. There's also a delicious poke food truck parked on site, which is a must!

Check out Lovebirds! I Really loved the energy of patrons, and thoughtful decor of LoveBirds! I had no problem finding parking around the corner in a neighborhood (no intense parking signs around.) The interior decorator definitely did their thing and knows how to make a space inviting + beautiful. I loved all the small touches, the atmosphere and how everything came together in the theme of a moody romantic vibe. This would be a cute place to check out around the love month of February! LISTEN! My favorite thing here was the music! Wow, the playlist going was amazing--great R&B vibes (music may vary if there's a different bartender) the bartender whipped up a really fun cocktail (+10) and I also ordered the passion fruit margarita and it was great ($12)There's also a poke place right next door, but I'm sure you could bring in a snack or dinner and no one would mind.

Absolutely adored this bar! I returned 2 times in my 4 day visit to Austin(technically 3 because my friend forgot her phone). Let's talk about the beyond cute interior here. So girly so cute. I want to live down the street. I got a new style Mai Tai and was promised no weird juice in it. Absolutely loved it. I'm a huge mai tai girl and plan on returning to fill my punch card out!! Pro tip send a friend as tribute to the line across the street for La Bbq(for the meat sweats) while you enjoy a drink or two. There sacrifice for the vibes is worth it(I was not said friend they are the mvp). Also they have fun mocktails that you can order to go in the cutest cup. I just asked for the cup and they are rad enough to just let me have it. (I'm hindsight I probably should have got our sacrificial line friend a mocktail)

Came here for a first date and it's a pretty cute place. I happened to pick the broken stool and the bartender was attentive enough to come over and let me know there are better stools. The drinks menu is a little bit limited though. I feel that there were maybe 10 alcoholic drink options available. Their signature lovebird cocktails were quite delicious though.

I suppose it might be frowned upon to bring small children into a bar--but eh. I did it anyway and Lovebirds was a lovely place for some HH with my sister and her two daughters, 5 & 3. Now before you judge, know that I don't know you and dgaf, but also the bartenders were so nice. They did not once inform us that we needed to leave, which we would've if it was against policy. Instead, they made cute mocktails for the girls! The drinks are fun and don't stray too far from traditional cocktails. Whatever the frozen cocktail they have, you should order it. This place doesn't serve food but I highly recommend the poke truck next door, which you can bring inside or dine outside in the cute patio! It's for sure a repeat place when I'm in Austin visiting.

This used to be Counter Culture. My vegan go to anytime I would visit Austin. I didn't know how to feel about being in a space I used to love, as a new business but it was good vibes. I loved the aesthetic of Lovebirds and the drinks were so good! It did get extremely loud inside once it got packed but we were gone by then. The crowd is a younger crowd but anyone can go and enjoy a cocktail. The Photo Booth could've been better. It's just a small pink closet sized room with a huge screen that takes bad photos of you. They could I've just done the old school Photo Booth where u get the print outs of the photos. It's still going to get some used to this space not being Counter Culture. Bar tenders were nice.

Came by to escape the heat while waiting for some BBQ, the vibe, great drinks, ambiance and hospitality from operator Randy made us take the food to go and hang there!Beautiful place, great drinks, excellent service and variety of attractions like photobooth, indoor/outdoor seating and beautiful hand custom decor throughout, 10/10 will be back
