Little Deli & Pizzeria

Consider me a fan. We came in for a late lunch, and got in and seated at one of the open spots. The decor is bright and modern, without being over the top. We had a Ruben which was delicious. Meatball Sub, delish, and the Greek salad. You can get small salads which I love, I often want a side salad and sometimes the only option is a garden, but here you can get a small Greek. It's everything you want for a lunch spot.Can't wait to come back.

I like the original location more. But this place is huge. They did make My friends sandwich incorrectly, sh ordered the pastrami Ruben and got just the pastrami, they guy didn't offer to replace it or give her sauerkraut. Chicken salad is darn tasty but I'd ask for a different bread next time. I wish they'd bring back the good croutons. The new ones aren't tasty.

Came here for lunch with a friend the other day and was super impressed with this spot. I was really in the mood for a sandwich so I got the classic Italian and it was great. The bread was super thick which made the sandwich more filling but overall it was a really good Italian sub. I think it would have been even better if I added some peppers bc it didn't have much acidity to it. The guy that was working the register was so nice and offered to wrap half of my sandwich since I said something about probably having leftovers. So thoughtful and those things don't go unnoticed. Also this spot is a great size with good seating and super cute! I will definitely be back and I might try the pizza because it smelled and looked incredible.

Za till the day I die. Can't believe I just discovered this location (usually go to the OG in Brentwood). This location has plenty of parking, great staff, more spacious and still slinging their famous pizza & subs. Definitely worth checking out this location if you haven't already.

Little Deli is my go to pizza in Austin. This pizzeria has a cool look with pizzas in the case, and large ovens just behind the counter. I've had take out and dine in, always good. I usually order pizza and cookies or a dessert.

The pizza here are so good! They are crispy, flavorful and delicious. The portion are huge, and their service is always amazing. There is wifi there too, so it's really convenient. The place is big and can accommodate large groups.

Food: 4/5 Little Deli is known to have some of the best NY style pizza slices and sub sandwiches in the City. Might have been an off day, because while they were good they weren't anything to write home about. The pizza had a perfect crust, but just tasted a little bland. Similarly the sub had some great bread and all the fixings, it just didn't hit the mark of WOW. Home Slice is definitely still my winner in these categories and costs around the same if not less. All this to say, good food but certainly a bit overhyped unfortunately.Service: 5/5 The staff here does an amazing job of combining efficiency with friendliness. Our food came out quickly and they were quick to provide recommendations!Environment: 4/5 Incredibly clean and tons of parking! Definitely a lunch spot and not somewhere I'd go for anything more than a quick slice of pizza.

The restaurant itself was great! We were the first ones in today for lunch and everything was spotless. As for the food itself, my husband got a slice of cheese pizza. There was still heat coming off of it when he got it! We are kind of pizza snobs so this was pretty basic New York style pizza. The Ruben I had was amazing! Also came out pipping hot! When you order a sandwich that's all you get - sides are separate- but let me tell you, that's all I needed. I ordered a whole sandwich when I definitely should have ordered a half. A ton of meat on there- they didn't skimp on anything! Overall great experience!

After reading through many of the reviews, it's pretty obvious this restaurant has the right formula going for it. Lots of seating inside, great service and food. Interestingly enough, there are no flat screens on the walls which is actually a pleasant surprise. There's plenty of great options to be found on their extensive menu, including lots of desserts and sides. They do have plenty of drink choices, however, I was disappointed in the fact they do not offer any alcoholic beverages such as wine by the glass or beer (hence 41/2*). This is one of those restaurants where you place your order at the counter, tip at the register and wait for it to arrive at your table. You can get one of their really fresh salads, pizza by the slice or the best deal on a cheeseburger in Austin ($7!). I had the Stromboli and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Pretty much everything is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. It's a great lunch/dinner spot or get it to go. Definitely a place I would return to and the photos included should get you through the door.
