My favorite local restaurant. It's affordable, I can always get a table, and it's super casual. And service is prompt. Drinks are always tasty. This time I tried the tamal. It was big, a little dry but had a great flavor. Empanada was a different than I expected. The dough was sweet and it had boiled egg inside.

I love Peruvian food. It's probably my favorite type of cuisine. There isn't a whole lot in the world that can't be made better by the addition of fried plantains. The service is always good when I go, and the mixed drinks are strong. When the weather is nice, get a seat on the patio. If you're looking for exciting cuisine, this is not the place. If you want good, solid Peruvian comfort food done well, this will fit the bill.

The restaurant is open and welcoming with a substantial outdoor patio as well as the indoor seating. Our server was friendly and very helpful with finding food that worked around my food intolerances. I started with a Pisco sour traditional. It was tart and delicious, very well made. Then I ordered the Lobo saltado with sirloin, minus the onions. The meat was tender and had so much flavor, and the fries were perfect for sopping up the delicious sauce. The garlic rice I gave my son, and he said it was delicious. He ordered the Pan con Chicharron. He ate every bite and said it was delicious. They were very generous with the meat in both our meals. We can't wait to come back again.

The food is just ok. It was my first time coming here. Was in the area to get Happy Lemon and decided to check this place out for dinner. I liked that they have a variety of dishes on their menu. The pictures look appetizing and I was excited to try the pasta and rice dishes. We got the Tallarines Verdes and the Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos. The tallarines (noodles) didn't have any cheese or salty flavor. It tasted pretty bland and the beef was a bit dry. The potatoes are good! The arroz was bland. Nothing really stood out. I've had better Peruvian food. Maybe these dishes that we got were not their specialties but I sadly wouldn't try again.

I came here on a weekday evening for dinner for 2 people. It was a later dinner so there was plenty of open seating when we went. As far as the service, it is good but it was a bit on the slower side. If you're in a rush, I might go somewhere else or let them know ahead of time. We weren't so it wasn't an inconvenience. It also looks like they're planning on adding more space to be able to fit more tables soon. The chicha morada was very good. As an appetizer, we got the papa rellena. I appreciated the good amount of meat inside the potato and also the sauce that went with it. For my entree, I ordered the Aji de Gallina. The sauce with the chicken was very tasty and creamy. My husband ordered the Lomo Saltado and he enjoyed the flavor but he mentioned the beef was a little tough. He learned after the fact that on the menu there is an option to upgrade your beef for an upcharge. The menu has a variety of dishes that were appealing. I would like to return to try the ceviche and a few other dishes that caught my eye!

Was craving Peruvian ceviche and found this place. We got the ceviche mixto and the ají de gallina. The fish in the ceviche tasted really good but the other seafood in the ceviche didn't taste very fresh and the juice was flavorful but could've been a little bit more flavorful. The ají de gallina sauce was yummy and I would eat it again. The two main things I didn't like about here was the portion sizes and the prices. If you're going to charge $20 + for a dish, the portions should be large enough for leftovers later just like any other place. To pay so much for such small size dishes, I was very underwhelmed and I wouldn't want to come back for this reason. The restaurant was pretty empty but the service was slow and they were all busy in a staff meeting. We got up and asked to check out ourselves.

I'm no expert in Peruvian food but whatever I had tonight was amazing! The huancaina sauce was so creamy, tasted similar to carbonara sauce. They said the dish would be a bit spicy but it wasn't spicy at all to me! Steak went well with the pasta too. I got an order of garlic rice on the side and the steak was good with that too. Definitely want to try their lomo saltado next time. I tried their chicken noodle soup and the broth was very well flavored. Chicken was tender enough. Excellent service. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, always had a smile of her face. Clean and nice place. Decent casual date night vibes. There are outdoor seatings.
