As many in Austin were, I was really bummed when Big Nonna's closed their doors. But lucky for us, Lil Nonna's is still around and close by! I love their current location near Spider House. And the vegan pizza is as awesome as ever. As an amateur vegan chef myself, I can taste the quality and love that Lil Nonna's puts into their pizza and ingredients. I'm so glad they are around.

I ordered from Li'l Nonna's on DoorDash and was really impressed with the pizza! My friend and I got the garlic knots, a pizza, and some ranch on the side. For the pizza, we got a half and half, so one half was the veg out and the other was the supreme. The Supreme side was pretty simple with veggies and tempeh, but I was in love with the veg out. I loved the artichoke hearts with the vegan cheese. I will say though, the pizza was very very heavy for me, I was done after one slice. I was really disappointed with the garlic knots though. The knots weren't completely baked through and it was obvious it wasn't baked with the garlic. The garlic was just thrown on top. It had the typical jarred garlic taste which was very acidic and not pleasant. Once I got them, I threw them in the air fryer for a few minutes but I wasn't wowed by the taste at all. Just seemed pretty doughy and not flavorful. The ranch was really good, and if you plan on buying a pizza then definitely worth getting.

This is my first time trying vegan pizza and I was wanted to see how the beets would taste like pepperoni. It tasted like beets to me but I like beets so that's fine. That wasn't my issue with this place, the pizza slice was super greasy and soggy. I had to eat my pizza with a fork and knife. The bottom was completely soaked in grease and I don't like my pizza slices that can't hold up all the toppings. It needed to be executed better, maybe ordering the whole pizza is the way to go for this.

The vegan cheese here is worth writing home about. Pizza came out piping hot with a heavy helping of cheese that melts PERFECTLY and has such a delicious flavor and texture--not too nutty or thick like many plant-based cheeses. While I haven't had cow cheese in years, you could've convinced me this was the real deal. The crust is also perfectly chewy with a great bite--and perfect for dipping in the ranch sauce. Don't sleep on the garlic knots either, loved the heavy helping of nutritional yeast as well. The marinara was also delightfully sweet/savory. Wish we had vegan pizza like this in DC!

Hella good pizza made in a tiny trailer! Everything is made from scratch, including the dough and toppings. It's no secret that it's some of the best vegan pies around, so your best bet is to order ahead. Wait times can be long, but always worth it.If you don't want a whole pizza (although it does make excellent leftovers, hot or cold the next day) go for a very affordable Sicilian slice, which is a thick rectangle that eats like whole meal for $4 - 5.My parents, two omnivorous former New Yorkers, heartily approved of the crisp thin crust and incredible housemade dairy free mozzarella cheese. I think that says it all.

Best vegan pizza in the country. Dominoes who?!!! I picked my friend up from the airport and he wanted this to be our first stop. Ok. Yes, you may think vegan pizza- gassy, gas cheese. NOT this one! they make their cheese in house, idk how they do. it is melty cheesy and perfect. yes there is a pizza that says beet pepperoni, and you may think that sounds weird and gross- ITS NOT. It works so well, i'm not sure how. It pairs so well with the pizza sauce! they even have vegan ranch. TRY it even if you love dairy. For best experience, double check hours and order online and pick up at the truck. Ordering online will save some time!

Flew in from California for a conference and was beat. Started searching for vegan delivery on DoorDash in the cab on the way to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan pizza place! The beet pepperoni sounded odd but decided to try it, it's a little sweet but has really good flavor. The cheese is awesome and the crust is just chef's kiss!

What a fun little food truck with such a cool concept.Walking up to the truck, I was hit with such a heavenly delightful smell! I ordered just a slice of sicilian pizza with seitan sausage, artichoke and almond ricotta for $6.My first bite the pizza reminded of school lunch pizza but then it started to grow on me and was pretty good. The seitan sausage was super flavorful and textured. The almond ricotta was creamy and airy. The cheese didn't stand out to me in a good or bad way. I think they went a bit too heavy on the red sauce for my liking. Overall good bite!

We love Big Nonna's and we're expecting Lil Nonnas would be just as good. The pizza was cold and the cheese not all the way melted. The garlic knots were severely undercooked, to the point where the dough was still stretchy in the middle. We had to put them back in the oven for 10 minutes. I didn't think to take a pic before, but here they are after 5 mins in the oven and you can tell they're still not all the way cooked and have minimal seasoning.
