Laurie's Cafe

I was really impressed by the food and the friendly atmosphere. I'd never heard of this place but a dear friend wanted me to try it with her. So glad we went! The menu is mostly salads, sandwiches and quiche. You can mix them up in two or three choices. I had the crab quiche with Cobb salad and strawberry congealed salad. All three were fantastic and came with your choice of three options. The crab quiche was the standout...loaded with crab and gooey cheese. I cleaned my plate! Servings were really generous. I really could have just ordered a two choice plate and been happy. Next time I probably will do that. Our waitress was a hoot and she was very patient with me as a first time customer. She suggested the crab quiche and I am forever grateful that she did!Only open 11-3, so plan accordingly. I'll be back soon!

I met here with 6 other ladies for lunch . Very cute place and I enjoyed the vintage decor. The service was adequate, but not outstanding. We had to ask & remind for a number of things. The food was good, and I was able to request a couple of changes to meet my dietary needs. Overall, it was a fun afternoon & a good place to gather! Tasty sandwiches & salads. I skipped the pie, but it sure looked good!

How have I lived in GTWN for a year and just now trying this cafe!? I've been missin out on some goodness. Today, a friend recommended this spot for light flare like sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. I stopped in a little after 2pm on a Wednesday, note that they close at 3. It reminds me of small grandma kitchen. Old timey down home vibe. I ordered take-out. Combo with scoop of chicken salad (so yummy), broccoli salad (oh my gosh it's good), fruit (very fresh) and a pecan muffin (I'm in love). Y'all, I'll be eating lunch here so much! Like a lot!

First time to eat at Laurie's Cafe and we loved it! All three of us had different combinations, including the chicken salad, broccoli salad, egg salad, pimiento cheese, cucumber tomato salad, chilled peach soup, corn muffin, cinnamon pecan muffin, raspberry and strawberry congealed salads. All of it tastes fresh and homemade. It really is like you are eating in your grandma's kitchen. We did not leave even a crumb.

We stopped for late breakfast/lunch. We had the quiche, broccoli salad, and chicken salad sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was very good and the atmosphere was homey and relaxed. We also took frozen lasagna with us and totally enjoyed it a couple of days later. All in all a positive experience!

Today we went to Laurie's for lunch and I had the BLT. The sandwich was fantastic. The bacon was extra flavorful and lot's of it. We will coming back here again for lunch.

My husband and I love this quaint place in Georgetown! We have enjoyed all the foods they have to offer! The staff have been super nice and friendly! I know that the menu choices are not much but for what you can get everything has been delicious and tasty!Everything is made from scratch if you haven't been there yet it's a must try and on Monday's they have a mother-Daughter that play music with a harp and sing it's so nice! Highly Recommend!!!

I have eaten at Laurie"s several times. The food has always been delicious and great service. I am taking my widows' group there for lunch today.

We really need to be able leave ZERO stars. Worst food. Worst service. Will never eat here again. Dry overpriced burger. Think worst than McDonalds. Chicken salad was mostly mayo and had a very off putting taste - did not taste fresh. And to top it off - the owner(s) are trump supporters. Not another penny from me. SMFH
