So continues the venture of the Michelin Bib gourmands. I was in the mood for tacos and which brought me over to La Santa Barbacha. Man what a gem, and such a delightful staff too. I was so happy with my choices and even got to meet the owner a bit too, which made the experience well deserving of the Bib Gourmand. Atmosphere: Food truck style next to a local convenience store and other food trucks as well. The venue itself is actually quite nice on a nice weather day due to the covering of shade and plenty of seating.Food: First off some of these may be like...all this for one taco, but you get pretty large portions so the price is easily justified. Besides price though the food itself is delectable. I ended up getting the Barbacoa taco, Cripsy Cheese Taco, and Quesabarbacha. Pretty much if something catches your eyes you won't be disappointed, with my personal favorites being both the Crispy Cheese and Quesabarbacha for any cheese lovers delight. Service: Counter style service where you simply order and they call your name when it is ready. I did get to meet one of the owners and it was just such a delight to hear her passion and creativeness for food come to life and now getting to see people enjoy her ideas. This may make one of my new top favorites for a taco joint should the cravings come. Easy Repeat.

This place really is delicious! I've been here 3 times now and look forward to going each time we stop at Fleet, The barbacoa breakfast tacos and sopas are 10/10. Full of flavor and great portion sizes! There is a parking lot in the back but it's almost always full so you have find street parking. For the amount of people ordering I would say that most of the time they get your food out reasonably quick, but it' will take 15+ min or so. It's a great vibe for meeting friends for coffee and some food! Highly recommend!

I have conflicting thoughts about La Santa Barbacha. The crispy cheese taco was really tasty (but only for the first half as it ended up feeling incredibly heavy in the second half). It's just so much cheese. If it were actually crispy, I think it would be 10x more enjoyable. Instead, it was just a very, very cheesy taco.In addition to the crispy cheese taco, I also ordered one of their more standard tacos. It was good but both tacos together ended up being almost $20 which I felt like was kind of a lot for a casual taco meal. Overall, I thought La Santa Barbacha was good. But given how many other Michelin-recognized taco spots there are in Austin, I'm more interested in trying out the others versus making a repeat visit back to La Santa Barbacha.

Very cute taco truck off of Manor! I've wanted to try this place for a while and I'm so happy I did. You order at the counter and wait for your order. The backyard area has tons of picnic benches and high tops for seating. The order does take a while, but worth the wait. We got the barbacoa taco and Quesabirria. The taco meat is SO SO juicy and yummy. Quesabirria is loaded with cheese.Overall, this would be a great place for breakfast tacos or an afternoon lunch.

THE BIG: Right off of Manor Road next to the light rail line. Still a food truck but with a better location IMO. Right next to a coffee food truck with plenty of seats for outdoor eating. Parking lot available but it gets filled up quick. Street parking also available.THE BLACK AND WHITE: Last time I read about La Santa Barbacha, they were at the Native hostel, but makes sense that they moved since Native hostel is now Holey Moley (mini golf). The wife and I came here on a low key Saturday afternoon. The new spot is definitely nicer with more seating and a play area for kids and doggos. There's no prices but the tacos are $5 each. Pretty pricey for a taco in my opinion. There was also the barbacha which is way more of a deal than individual tacos that is essentially a meat quesadilla. That was delicious albeit very cheesy.THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done here for a taco and the quesabarbacha was around $16. Great flavors and a little pricey but will be back to try more items.

Don't care how good the food is. Not posting prices at the point of sale is exactly the kind of elitism that's ruined/ruining Austin, from food culture and beyond. I guess only plebes worry about how much their food costs? No thanks.

Beautiful spot for lunch with friends! We loved that there was so much seating so it was an optimal spot to catch up and enjoy delicious food. I tried the bowl and a pineapple mint drink which came out to ~$24. The bowl was amazing and very filling as well. Would highly recommend this spot, especially on a day with nice weather.

LOCATION: This food truck is near a lot of apartment complexes and very walkable. It is located right next to a Fleet coffee truck. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. If you don't live nearby, parking can be a bit tricky. FOOD: I ordered the crispy cheese taco, the barbacoa taco, and carne asada taco. The crispy cheese taco was yummy and filling as the outside shell is fried cheese. It is on the heavier side though. I would order this again. The carne asada and the barbacoa tacos were good, but nothing amazing.COST:These are on the pricier side. The carne asada and barbacoa tacos were $5 each and the cheese taco was $10. I think the cheese tacos was worth the price, but not the regular tacos.OVERALL: I like this place for the convenience since it is walkable from my location. But if I'm being honest, I wouldn't go out of my way to come since the tacos are pricey and parking is challenging.

Came here on a Friday evening, excited to try a new hot taco spot. There were a few small groups ahead in line so we tried peeking around at the menu, but realized there were no prices anywhere. Thought this was odd but, oh well, "we'll just ask." When we got up to the front, the guy taking orders apologized and said they've been busy and he's just filling in to help. So we asked "how much are the tacos", and he replied "they're all $5 each". We ordered a Benito, a Barbacoa, and two crispy cheese tacos. Plus a pink horchata (which we hot swapped with the delicious cantaloupe fresca). Then he told me the total was $45 and my dumb ass didn't think to question it. With tip it was $50. Well, we had about 30-40min to wait, and in that ravenous period I realized, wait, doesn't 4x5 = 20? How does this make sense. Once we found the menu online we realized those crispy burrito things are actually $10 each. Scratch that, $11 after seeing the receipt. In fact, everything was more expensive than we thought. So yeah that sucked. I promise I'll stop harping on them in a second. We eventually had to go up to ask where our food was, and I guess it had just been sitting there chilling because she said her mic was broken? We were missing our second crispy taco but that came right out after another checkup. At this point, we were starving and the food was tasty. My crispy cheesy $11 taco was soggy but honestly it was still good. The fresh one my gf had was better, and hers had refried beans inside. The salsas were excellent. And the fresh tortillas were delightful. All said, it was a time consuming, expensive meal at a really trendy food lot. And I was still hungry when we left. I hope they can get more help to course correct and be more transparent with pricing. Cheers.

Such a cute little food truck with amazing tacos and a lovely outdoor area. It's in the same gated area as the fleet coffee and a bar which are all great. I love that they make their own tortillas. Very good service and prices too. Great spot to grab a quick taco or two! Their Quesabarbacha is my favorite thing on the menu! Definitely a repeat customer and love this spot!
