Great food, great price, and right by the soccer fields so convenient after leaving a game.I ordered with a group of 4 and amongst us we had a tostada, caldo soup, beef quesadillas, chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, 2 cokes, and 2 michelada's. Everything was superb and came out to around $70, which honestly isn't bad for 4 people with alcohol. Service was wonderful. They were attentive, quickly refilled our drinks/chips, and had our food out to us in less than 15 minutes. Would definitely come back again!

It's the weekend, so time to try new tacos. Headed sorry again to La Placita. I was going to do two different tacos, but they do three breakfast tacos for $4.50, if they are all the same, so chorizo she egg on flour again for me!Fillings was good. Eggs weren't as fluffy as I'd ideally like, but not bad at all. Flour tortillas are a bit too thick, but Austin, not bad. Warmed up, but probably could be crisped up just a slight bit more.Seems like a solid place. Will try again. Three to four stars.

I don't know about the food yet, but this place just left a bad taste in my mouth with the way they do business. Ordered a Gordita plate which costs 14.99. They charged me $18.00, which was weird and asked why the tax was so high. Was then told that they charge extra $1 for beef and the tax came out to $18, which was incorrect. I showed them that it should only come out to $17.31 and then was told that they charge extra for credit cards. There was no sign anywhere that says that. Asked to speak to manager/owner and was told they are not availableI wouldn't mind paying the extra but I do not like being taken advantage of. Did not tell me beforehand and only tried to explain away the extra charges after I questioned the amount charged. Will never go back.

Just went for a meal after my boyfriend's basketball game in the area and it was phenomenal! Service was fast and friendly - plus the quesadillas were the best we've had! I had a shrimp one and my boyfriend had the chicken fajitas. Their salsas are also very complex and delicious! Hope to be back

Once upon a taco-less morning, I sauntered into this joint, tantalized by the promise of breakfast tacos that could sweep me off my feet. Visions of crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and gooey cheese danced in my head as I eagerly placed my order: potato and egg with beans, cheese, and a slice of bacon in each tortilla. The anticipation was akin to meeting a blind date for the first time - would we hit it off or end up in a heated debate over who makes the best tacos? Unfortunately, it was the latter. With one bite, I was transported to aisle 7 at the grocery store, wrestling with clingy plastic wrap on a pack of discount, non-refrigerated tortillas. Surely, this couldn't be the grand taco affair I was promised! As a proud native of the 956, Rio Grande Valley (where we take our tacos as seriously as our quinceañeras), I can attest to the authentic taste that should be present in a true breakfast taco. If that elusive 10 out of 10 taco is a precious gem, these tacos were a 2. The vibe of the place and the pictures on the window lured me in, only to leave me with an unfulfilled taco craving and disappointment so heavy, it could sink the Titanic. To sum it up, my breakfast taco journey at this establishment left me feeling like a lovesick fool who was catfished by a breakfast taco. If you're after that true, authentic taste, it's best to keep on looking - or simply hop on a plane to the 956.As for the service, it was alright, but it's a pain to call a place to place an order and have it give you the busy signal. If you can afford to remodel your restaurant, then surely you can afford to make it so that your customers can be placed on hold while they wait for the cashier to finish the other call.

Wonderfully clean hole in the wall. Impeccable creamy green salsa. In fact, they bring three different kinds of salsas to the table which is lovely. Server spoke both Spanish and English and was super kind. I'm also celiac and wasn't cross contaminated

The food itself was pretty alright but the service wasn't there for me. I am someone who didn't grow up learning Spanish and I feel like the ladies there were rude to me because I wasn't speaking to them back in Spanish. Then when I paid I was definitely overcharged.. I would never again.
