La Patisserie

I was on the search for a Vietnamese Coffee Christmas Eve morning. Many shops were already closed for the holidays, but not La Patisserie! I'm so sorry I wish I could remember her name...maybe Amanda? She was beyond kind and sweet. Got my Vietnamese Coffee and sat out on their super cute french inspired patio with our pup. Yes they are dog friendly! As we sat we watched all the neighborhood regulars walk in with their families. What a cute and friendly neighborhood cafe!

Lovely cafe with wonderful treats!. We came here Saturday for a chai latte, croissant and macaroons. We really enjoyed sitting on the front patio. Staff wwere friendly and overall atmosphere is very inviting. We'll be back!!

We stopped by here from our tour with Cliff (Best of Austin small group tour-highly recommend!). The macarons were delicious! And a bunch of us ordered more to bring home. I wish I had more time to get the Vietnamese Cold Coffee. For any visitors, this is close by the Austin mural and a great place take pics.

April 21, 2023I was on my way home (back to Galveston) and had to stop at this girly French themed bakery. I got 3 different macarons and a cortado- everything was tres' bien!Love the art on the outside of the structure and the art in the RR-1 window is staind class; it's a window of flowers!

The CUTEST French bakery. We got the BOGO croissant & cinnamon sugar muffin, as well as two macarons.The lady behind the counter was literally the most kind and gave us good suggestions on ffe rent murals to see around Austin after we told her we were mural searching. The croissant was, and I kid you not, the most delicious croissant I've ever had. It was about an hour before close, so I know they were from the morning, but it was still the best croissant ever. The butter was slightly sweet on top, and the insides were so so perfect. Crispy on the outside, perfection on the inside- it was delicious! We sat outside on the high top table nearest the front door, and we really enjoyed ourselves with the perfect spring weather. We would LOVE to return!

La Patisserie is the cutest little macaroon and pastry boutique. I loved all of the bistro tables out front. I went around 12p on a Sunday, but there was still a good selection of pastries to choose from. I opted for a glazed crobrio and a slice of red velvet. It was pretty tasty! I'll definitely be back to try more of the baked goods.

La Patisserie is conveniently located to the left of the famous Greetings From Austin Mural sign. My initial plans were to stop by the mural to take a quick picture and walk to my next destination. Given that Austin was in the triple digits, it was only best to grab a drink for the road. I ordered a hibiscus tea and a salted caramel macaron. I got the last of the pre-made tea (as they ran out.. hence my cup not fully filled) and it was pretty watered down. However, I was super thirsty and chugged it. As for the macaron, I'm not a huge fan of them but have to say the salted caramel was delightfully yummy. It had the perfect flavor in the inside and slight crisp on the outside - very well baked. Cute little shop - has a great selection of macarons and drinks plus there's seating indoors and outdoors if you want to lounge. Definitely a great pit stop when visiting the mural - highly recommend!

Amazing place. Such a great gem. Très bon! Très bon! Great service with people who speak French, and the interior is very welcoming. Love it, defiantly coming back.
