Updating my La Casita review to reflect that the customer service experience has gotten MUCH better than what it used to be a few years ago. For my money, this is the best Mexican food in Pflugerville. I love ordering pretty much everything here, but standouts add the migas breakfast tacos, the pozole, and pretty much all of their lunch/dinner taco plates. Their red salsa is the best, hands down.

Quick stop for some breakfast tacos before heading to the park with the kiddos.....Been a minute since we have been here and still friendly as usual. Upkeep on the place looks good. I'm a huge fan of Barbacoa, Egg and Cheese....if you haven't tried it you definitely missing out. And this was no exception and I really like the addition of cilantro and onions on top. Good Size portions as well.

I ordered from this restaurant again, and this was my last time doing so.Pros: NONECons:The chimichanga was soft and mushy! It was not fried! It sat in the same compartment as watery lettuce and soupy sour cream, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering a chimichanga, which is supposed to be crunchy! It was also soaked in queso, which also makes no sense. The sauce should come on the side which it had been on the two previous orders. The guacamole was practically Black, it was so old, and they put it in the container!! THEY PUT OLD GUACAMOLE IN THE FOOD CONTAINER!!! SEE PICTURES BELOW. They did not include the salsa that was paid for in the order because "we can't give it to you for free", "that is a Doordash promotion and we told them to stop using it" said Issac, the guy I spoke with. Now, let's talk about the promotion he's referring to. Doordash had a promotion for 30% off your order. He said that because of that promo, they would be giving the salsa that was ordered and paid for away for free. So, instead of putting it in the bag because it was, in fact, paid for, they decided to recoup the discount issued by Doordash by NOT putting it in the bag!!!! Are you serious!?!? That's stealing from the customer who paid for the item and only used the promo given to them by Doordash. I was shocked that he even admitted that.This was my last time ordering from this place as they are clearly unscrupulous in choosing to withhold food ordered and paid for because they don't want to honor a Doordash promotion.More importantly, this was my last time because the food was less than subpar if that's even possible. There's no quality control as they should not have let old brownish black guacamole be served to a customer even if it is a delivery order!!

For the past week I've been craving mini tacos so deeply and I am not referring to my decision. The service was nice, and fast. They know the menu. Outside seating is available along with inside dining. I believe I waited 10 minutes for my order, which is fantastic! For the mini tacos, It came with cilantro, grilled onions , and a jalapeno with a side of charro beans. We also got beef enchiladas, they add lime juice on top of the enchiladas which I believe is a game changer! Very very good! 10/10 recommend.

The wife brought home an order of menudo to-go and while the container felt heavy, I soon found out why and this was almost $20. Yikes! The flavor was good but the shear amount of bone to actual edible meat was really unsettling.

Went to their website to put in order and it pushed me to door dash. Paid for order online also. Order confirmed with texts from La Casita. Even received an order is ready for pickup text. When I arrived they said there was no order. They then made the order while I waited. No, apologies or offer of compensation. The food was good but because of the customer experience/service this is a one and done for me.

This place does not have free refills on Ice Tea anymore but does not tell you. You just get another glass and then get charged another $2.99 Also they now charge a Auto-Gratutity on all orders but it is hidden unless you get a itemized copy of your receipt. You go to pay for your food and they just give you a total. Unless you are on your toes and know what your total should be you`ll miss that it`s $6-$7 more than it should be. Then your CC receipt will have a line for a tip. So they expect their Auto-Gratutity then if you miss it to be tipped again.
