As of 10/18/24, this place is open. Not sure why it's reported as temporarily closed. We bought to go and everything packaged well.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon when the food court was decently busy. We are pretty sure they forgot our order as my partner went to ask after 25 min and they said it was about to come out in a few minutes and we ended up waiting another 20. I ordered the cheese katsu and my partner ordered cold noodles. We shared a cold noodle, which was not worth the money and was just noodles and broth with ginger. The cheese katsu was decent, nothing special. The pesto noodles were also decent. For the wait time, expensive price and decent food, we would not return.

I've never had Katsu before and I was completely surprised. My wife encouraged me to try the Mozzarella Chicken Katsu and I thoroughly enjoyed it immensely. The chicken was crispy and the sweet and sour gravy like sauce just blended it all together nicely. It may look like a monster sized chicken fried steak if you're just going off the picture of it alone, but no it's not even close. Believe it or not there's a size bigger (Texas Size) and I can't even imagine anyone trying to eat something of that caliber. Only thing I can gripe about it the price, because everything is expensive and yada yada, but it's worth the price to get the Katsu I got. Also you do get 4 sides with it too which drives up the value.

Biggest, best pork on the planet. And their saucer is die for. Wish we got larger portions of mac and coleslaw though. This is a definite stop when up by HMart.

Easily one of the biggest katsu burgers I've ever had! The cutlet itself was huge and incredibly moist on the inside. The katsu was solid, especially having the egg on there as well! I do wish there was a bit more katsu sauce on it, but still very good. It was messy and fell apart pretty easily, but I think that was because the cutlet was so big. I'm not complaining though because the pricing for it was a great deal. I've tried the katsu curry as well, and that wasn't too great, so I will personally stick to the burger. Either way, I highly recommend checking this place out!

The Texas King sized Katsu... beyond massive! My son and I came on empty stomachs and we got through 2/3 of this thin, crispy, flavorful, tender delight! You get two large Katsu per order. We ordered the pork. Came with a simple macaroni salad, pickle slices, cabbage coleslaw, a cup of miso soup, and a hearty portion of rice. Katsu was covered in tonkatsu sauce which was tasty, but next time we will order it on the side. Fun environment, with open seating and k-pop music in the background. We waited less than 15 minutes for our buzzer to ring. Also, note there are so many great restaurants here. Be sure to grab a beard papa cream puff for dessert around the corner, if you have the room! We will be back! But with another person so we can finish it!

This is in the food court in H-mart. The overall atmosphere is pretty busy and loud. The food looks good but overall bland. The ingredients are individually assembled so none of them are integrated. It's a weird meal to eat. The katsu itself tastes good, nice and crispy but bland. They really rely on the sauce drizzled on top for the flavor and there's not much of it. Everything else is salt less, which makes the tiny cup of miso soup really stand out as it is the only thing with flavor...it's pretty disappointing overall. For this, it takes a while to assemble. I'd probably try something else in the food court unless you are not very adventurous with food.

I love katsu!!! I ordered the katsu curry bowl. The katsu was nice and moist. The curry was surprisingly bland. That was a disappointment . It came with a cup of miso soup. I also expected the serving to be bigger since I saw a man order the Texas katsu which would feed 3-4 people. The serving size was plenty . It was $11.99 but the meal that I would say served 3-4 was only $16.99. I will go back to try the Texas katsu and have leftovers or the katsu burger sandwich. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant area. Very clean. Service was good. Took about 10 min for my food to be made.

The food was good. However, it should be considered as fast food. The wait for food was about 7 to 10 minutes. It is located in a food court at H-Mart. Therefore, the seating is shared between several restaurants. I was alone, so I got a seat without too much trouble. I had the Katsu Don Bury. Overall, the area was fairly clean. The noise level is loud as one would expect at the food court. There was music playing, and it appeared everyone was enjoying their time.

The katsu here is delicious. I wish I could try more of the other places but I love the curry pork katsu bowl too much. We went again yesterday and my wife, daughter, and I all ordered the curry pork katsu bowl. It's very delicious and very filling. I have also ordered the Texas Katsu here once, and it was so large that my friend and I couldn't finish it. I would come here more if I didn't live so far out. Keep up the good work!
