KJ's BBQ

Found this little gem after my in-laws moved out near this area. This little hole in the wall place makes some damn good BBQ, and the owners are very friendly. Brisket is good and moist, ribs are very tasty, the nachos are great, and the frito pie is excellent. There's not one thing they serve that is not excellent. Too bad they are only open Friday and Saturday!

Awesome BBQ off the beaten path a little outside Seguin...KJ knows his BBQ! The brisket and ribs were smoked just right- so tender and juicy! Potato salad was fresh and homemade and so were the desserts. This place is a MUST TRY!!! Way to go KJ!!!

Unreal. If this place were in the town of Seguin there would be a line out the door. The portions are great and the meat is awesome. I love the aosphere and the people. Best bbq around, best food in Seguin.

Think your lost and you've made it. Country store and a feed store up front- heaven just to the right- open the door and wow! Very cool place. Of course the food is incredible! Wood burning fire pit out back with Kevin as the Pit Master and his wife and daughters handling everything inside...... home made sides: beans, Mac-n-cheese, cabbage & bacon, green beans, cole slaw- oh and the pies!! I have had bbq from Tennessee to all over Texas and KJ's is the best!!

So yesterday I went ahead and tried KJ's BBQ to see what the hype was all about.. The Price. First of all I got 1lbs of brisket two medium sides and a small side came out to $38 and some change way overpriced!! The Mac & cheese was more like Velveeta macaroni in box !The potato salad off back look disgusting and me and my son love potato salad we both took one bite and was like no it tasted how it looked nasty!The beans were pretty good I'm not even gonna lie they taste really good They kind of taste like Bush baked beans and they added probably bacon into them.The brisket was Dry and Tough I could not even rip it with my hands and it was mostly had fatt on it. The Drive was about 20min one way smh I was very disappointed in the food !

Stop by for some good homemade food. Everything we had was delicious! Brisket, sausage, Mac and cheese, beans. Service was awesome as well
