I loved my experience at Kerbey Lane! Great food (ordered the California Omelets), good server, and quite busy!I went during a Saturday brunch time, so parking was full but was able to park at an adjacent parking lot. I really wish I could give a 3.5Honestly food was solid, atmosphere was nice, servers were amazing! If you want solid food this is a good place, but nothing to write home about.

The sooner you get here the better because it's super popular and the waitlist can get long. We waited ~20-25 minutes coming in at 10:30 on a Saturday morning (fyi) I ordered the breakfast platter with a side biscuit and my boyfriend got the chicken and pancakes - on the menu, it said that the pancakes were actually cinnamon beignets but it was just a thicker pancake than mine (no cinnamon on his pancake either?) I enjoyed my breakfast platter and feel if you come here, stick to the OG stuff and not branch out.

This is always a quick and easy location for a nice meal. Service is always friendly. Food always prepared well and comes out hot. They do get busy, but I think they have an option to get on a waitlist online.

Easy parking and quick seating on a typically busy Sunday afternoon! The restaurant was clean. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The have vegan and vegetarian option which is great!I enjoyed the fish tacos and my wife enjoyed the chicken friend platter. And of course you can't frequent Kerby's without queso! It was yummy!I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Yummy food, queso was amazing! Interesting menu too with the breakfast/Mexican twist. Service was great and atmosphere was cool. Lots of cool signs and decorations. The other people in my party enjoyed their breakfast meals. We'll be back! I will be trying the pancakes when I return ... they looked so yummy!

They got us seated super fast! The queso was to die for! The food came out fast and the server was super nice and recommended us some good food!

Came here for brunch one day with a friend as it was pretty good. Definitely can't say it was the best brunch food I've ever had but definitely above average. It was also my first time visiting so I can't speak to anything in the menu besides the California omelette. Our server was very friendly and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant itself is pretty cool reminds me of an old diner the way it is laid out. Would stop here again!

Food was good - consistent and satisfying - and our server was nice. They have vegan options and gluten-free options on the menu. I hate to say this in the review but would like to provide feedback that the bathrooms are really dirty. Hope that can be fixed and improve the overall customer experience.

I recently stopped by without a reservation as my friend was in town visiting with her family and wanted to come as she hadn't been to Kerbey Lane in years. Kerbey Lane was a go-to spot for UT students when we were in college, and they always had reliable and delicious food (with plenty of gluten free options as well!)We came on a Wednesday around 12:30 pm with no reservation and had a table within about 5 minutes of being on the waitlist. Our waiter was very friendly and quite prompt with everything. Only complaint is that my chai latte was forgotten, but that could have been the kitchen or the waiter, and it was promptly resolved as soon as I asked about it.It's been quite some time since I've returned after my last experience, and while the menu has significantly changed, I do think Kerbey Lane is no longer a great pancake place for gluten free folks, given how greatly the options have been reduced (pretty much just a vanilla pancake with the option to add a cinnamon swirl or other toppings, but no fun pancake flavors like they used to do.)That said, I ordered the black-cherry smothered pork chops with tamarind brussel sprouts and was thoroughly impressed with how well seasoned the food was. The flavor was great and it was a good portion. Everyone else ordered the standard (not gluten free) breakfast food and said it was good, so if you're not gluten free, the breakfast options are a great choice as well!There is plenty of parking but the lot is somehow always full, so thankfully it's in a larger complex and additional parking is available. Due to the location, parking is always free here. The ambiance is a pretty general diner atmosphere, so it is a bit crowded and can be noisy, but this is casual dining so it's to be expected. They do have indoor and outdoor patio seating, so you can pick your preference, and the patio is relatively covered so even if it's cold outside you shouldn't be too cold.If you need gluten free and want breakfast foods, I'd recommend going somewhere else, but if you're looking for savory food for lunch or dinner, Kerbey Lane is a great option.
