Kerbey Lane Cafe - Round Rock

Queso was good as always (would recommend everyone to try Kerbey Lane's queso!) However, this time it was a bit watered down and a little cold. Should be more cheesy and hot. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was good. I would get it again if I had the taste for it. I really like the red pepper sauce on top. Our waitress was super sweet! I usually always have positive experiences at Kerbey Lane.Ironically, the stand-out item today was the water. SO GOOD. Did not taste like the standard tap water that I usually get at restaurants. I really like Kerbey lane. Especially back in the day when it was 24/7 & open at 3am. Those days are gone.The service here is meh. Food is still good. Seasonal pancakes are a treat. Patio is ok. I think they sometimes forget people are out there. Patio is dog friendly, so that's a plus.

Immediately sat at the bar as a part of 1 which was fast and nice if I was in a rush. Manager made sure I was taken care of and everything came out very quickly. I am vertically challenged so eating over the bar was a little trickier but still doable. If you're under 5'3 however it might be tricky. The tall men next to me had no troubles though so that's good to keep in mind. The layout feels very open and lots of parking is available. Server took good care of me and I showed up during the shift change so that was nice :) French toast was sweet but in a nice way with a good crust on the sides, middle cooked was moist so yay I love that about a french toast.

Kirby Lane in Round Rock never disappoints! I picked up the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes (complete with bacon bits and cheese), broccoli, and a biscuit--so freaking delicious! Everything was piping hot and ready right on time for pick-up. This meal has become my go-to; the flavors are always spot on, and the portions are just right.If you're looking for comfort food that hits the spot every time, this is the place! Can't wait to order it again soon!

Service was great, only downside was one of the dishes we ordered was chicken and gravy with mashed potatoes, the entire plate was cold. Chicken was colder than snow on top of even colder gravy. Though the service and environment was great like always. The food needs to be more checked for quality so cold food doesn't come out often.

I've always been a fan of Kerbey Lane Cafe. And I've also always been a fan of pancakes for dinner. So was definitely glad to meet up with Lauren B for an impromptu dinner at the Kerbey Lane Cafe in Round Rock for a pancake dinner. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. The service was friendly, patient and helpful. The food was exactly what you expect from Kerbey Lane Cafe - it is made to order with a balance of a diner and homecooked flavors. The pancake flight makes it easy as you don't have to choose one flavor - and it was more than I could eat, so gave me a breakfast for the next day! There's ample parking in the shopping center lot too.

Kerbey Lane is one of the best around at accommodating food allergies and restrictions. All of the omelettes on the menu contain ingredients I can't eat, but I was able to order a custom omelette with ham, feta cheese, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, and avocado. It was delicious! Definitely something I will have again. I ordered the home fries with only salt because their usual seasoning contains onion powder. No problem there. I ordered the fruit cup as my second side, minus the melon. Our server warned me it would just be strawberries which I said was fine. Our server was new, and so sweet. She was also very attentive, keeping our water glasses filled, and I loved her pickle costume. It's Halloween today, and I love that the staff is allowed to dress up. It makes it so fun.

The Summer Seasonal Menu features Lemon Poppy Pancakes & Lemon Poppy French Toast. O. M. G. !! The L P Pancake is *perfect!* The exact perfect contrast of sweet to lemon, not even the slightest hint of grittiness (you know that can happen sometimes), a light, perfect texture and refreshing and satisfying both at the same time. Migas are a favorite, but I had never tried them at Kerbey Lane. With verde sauce they are epic, and the black beans are the perfect accompaniment. Very fresh corn tortillas made this visit (KL RRTX) the best one ever. I didn't ask our server's name, and that's a shame: he did such a great job that I wish I could recognize him here (young man who might be Hispanic, but ‍) GO EAT LEMON POPPY PANCAKES BEFORE THEY'RE GONE! I'm coming back tomorrow. And tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow...

Kerbey Lane is always so yummy! I've been to this location several times, and I'm happy every single visit. Their seasonal menu is such a treat--if you go when they have the lemon French toast, you have to try it. It's absolutely delicious! The restaurant is clean, and the servers are consistently friendly and attentive. The hostess was helpful also; she made sure we knew the specials. Highly recommend!

A very poor service as per kerby lane expectation. I got my name placed in line around an hour ago but even after reaching, there is decent 10-15 mins wait for getting table after they check you in at front desk. I got table at the very end of the patio and you could see the spider web, dust on the wall next to you. We got avacado toast, veg migas and coffee (latte, butter coffee). It was the WORST avacado toast I have ever had in my life. One of my friend also ordered avacado toast and it was same for her. We both got sunny side up eggs, it looked like they made both eggs together and just cut it in half. VERY POOR QUALITY. Migas were ok. Cutlery wasn't clean too. I've tried other kerby lane location so will suggest this as resturent but not this particular location or the seat the very end of patio/near kids play area.
