Super cute all-day brekkie joint. Parking is off-site, and possibly around the corner on the street, but wasn't too bad for a downtown location.Robust menu, lively atmosphere, and friendly service. The biggest issue is the restroom situation...there are two single-stall restrooms for this entire place. After ordering, I proceeded to the restroom to wash my hands and waited in excess of 15+ minutes, as both were occupied. There was no line...After finally getting to use the restroom to wash my hands, I returned to the table to cold food with congealed sauce and toppings on my beignet pancakes; cold, hard eggs; and a skin had formed on the gravy with the biscuits and gravy. Our server had seen me standing in line, so after a few minutes of no one checking to see if we were all enjoying our food, I tracked our server down and asked if they wouldn't mind warming up or remaking my food. Not sure if it was microwaved or not, but it came back worse than it had been prior to them taking it. The skin on the gravy was thicker, the gravy cold under the skin; the eggs were harder and more like hard-boiled eggs; the drizzle on the pancakes had become crusty and cracked.Waiting an hour to then wait twice more -- once for the restroom, and once for rubbery food was definitely not my expectation for an experience. With so many other amazing brekkie places in the vicinity, we definitely won't be back.

OG KAW(Keep Austin Weird)! Checked in for some comfort food on a sub-freezing day. They were "slammed" from a race and all the spectators swarmed this historic site...nonetheless we had no wait. Such great ambiance and keeping true to being an Austin Original. Was my first time ordering the cinnamon Honey Butter Latte from the espresso section. Every sip was indulgent and smooth and warming to the soul! Not overly sweet and just the perfect hint of cinnamon and butter that made this coffee so smooth.I ordered the Chilaquiles; Crispy corn tortilla chips sautéed in verde sauce, topped with 2 over easy eggs, queso fresco, onions, cilantro and sour cream. Served with refried black beans and rice. I added shredded chicken and sliced avocado! The translation is Breakfast Nachos! Absolutely delicious with the tortillas being crisp, and the egg yolk a runny perfection. Pro tip, ask for a side of salsa to splash on top. The shredded chicken was a little on the dry bland side...more like a shredded boiled chicken breast. But it wasn't meant to be eaten alone! When teamed up with everything else it added to the perfect bite. The rice was not just for decoration or an after thought, It was delicious as well. Highlighting our meal was our attentive, "bringer of food joy," Taliana! She was so helpful and we enjoyed being in her section! Only negative part of the experience was not being able to eat more than one menu item at a time...

Kerbey Lane will always be a 5/5 in my book! I get different things every time and I am never disappointed. My favorites include the avocado toast and any of the pancakes. The service is great and the ambiance is always inviting. Great experience always!

Kerbey Lane is in Austin staple. I love coming here with friends and family visiting from out of town for a great breakfast. I like to order the specialty pancakes of the month, and the queso is always delicious. There's usually a wait on weekends so I like to put my name on the waitlist ahead of time. The staff is always really friendly and fast. Even though there's usually a long wait to be seated, they are quick to take orders and bring out food. The inside of the restaurant is cozy and quaint and makes me feel like I'm at a local restaurant. You cannot leave Austin without trying Kerbey Lane!

Great place to stop by fo a quick family meal! I just love the vibes of this place! This staff is friendly and laid back and it just feels welcoming. Went with my husband and preschooler (who doesn't historically do great at restaurants) on a Saturday morning and we had a great time! We made a reservation, but didn't need it and were seated immediately. My husband got the chicken and pancakes and they were REALLY good! The chicken tenders are better than most --really well seasoned and cripsy. And the pancakes were tender and delicious. I got the pumpkin french toast and migas (Paris Texas) and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's pan fried pumpkin bread rather than regular bread dipped in pumpkin puree and batter. It was so yummy, but so rich that I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. You get a choice of sauces for the migas and I chose the vegan queso which was really good (and very generously slathered over the migas -I could've used less to be honest). Our preschooler liked the chicken tenders, but it was easy to take a look at the mac + cheese and tell it wasn't going to be good so he skipped over it.We'll definitely be back for more!

Waitlist was easy. Not too long to get a table. The Migas were ok 3/5. French toast solid 4/5. Really laidback vibe and good for families. Service was quick. Good for an easy and solid tasting breakfast, but won't blow you away.

Kirby Lane is a go-to for chicken and pancakes and the classic Kirby queso. Their hot lattes are also great. The service at this location is friendly but a bit slow as they are usually pretty busy. Parking can be a hassle because there is only street parking and there are many businesses around it. The ambience makes the parking hassle worth it!

Getting here and finding parking was a bit of an adventure. Parking was rough. Phew! This cafe is charming. It's in an old house on a tiny lane. I ordered Crispy Chicken Benedict. Delish!
