Keith's BBQ is a school bus with a rotating schedule that happens to serve barbecue. Their schedule is located on their website. I love that Keith's does a rotation close to my workplace once every couple weeks so my lunch for that day is fun and different. Now to preface, I don't think their barbecue is the best in Texas, but for the price they sell it at, it's definitely become an office lunch staple. The quantity they give is generous, and I can usually get full off the 2-meat plate and I eat a decent amount. The 2-meat plate is $15 + tax/tip and it comes with two meats out of brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken, and pulled pork. I've tried all of their meat options now, and they are definitely very solid. I would say their pulled pork and brisket are amazing with their barbecue sauce. Not sure what they put in the barbecue sauce, but it feels homemade and is probably the best barbecue sauce I've had. I only wish they had a spicy option. The workers are nice and the service has been very pleasant every time I've been. Overall, very good bang for your buck so definitely give them a try!

This is the best school bus I've ever seen. Oh, how they've tricked this bus out! The BBQ smells coming from here are just mouth watering. Online ordering makes getting this delicious BBQ so much easier. There's always plenty of food for each meal ordered. I simply LOVE the Pulled Pork, as well as the Potato Salad! The staff is always fast & friendly. So glad they are on a regularly scheduled visit near my job. #Convenient #BBQWinning

The pulled pork and baby back ribs are fantastic. Pricing and portions seemed fair too. They could go with a better quality white bread in my opinion but that's a minor point. House BBQ sauce was a perfect match for the rub and smoker that they are using. Will be back whenever it's convenient (they brought the truck to my apartment this time)

Love the idea of BBQ served out of a cute renovated vintage school bus! I had the "two meat" combo in a flour tortilla. The chopped beef was okay, although a little too fatty for my taste. The sausage was the star of the show, it is very flavorful, moist and mildly spicy. Bonus points for being able to choose between a sandwich or a tortilla wrap, although if you get the wrap the tortilla ends up pretty soggy.

I have ordered the chicken sandwich 3 times. Each order, the cook on the chicken is consistent, meaning - PERFECT! Moist and delicious, they nail it every time!

We hired Keith's BBQ as one of the food trucks for our conference. Service was friendly. The brisket sandwich was awesome. Fatty, not too much sauce and moist. Everything you want in a brisket sandwich. I tried Ironworks the day before and I wasn't too impressed but I decided to give Austin barbeque another try and it was delicious!Plus I love that they're on a school bus!

My gods, this was some good BBQ! I was in Austin for SXSW and told to try the also awesome Iron Works. But the first time I showed up to Iron Works there was an hour long wait out the door. I was way to hungry for that. Then I here a hippy calling from across the street "You want some BBQ, man!" I see this awesome school bus that smelled pretty killer. Deciding school bus BBQ now beats Iron Works BBQ in an hour, I gave it a try. And I wasn't even vaguely disappointed.I had the brisket and it was so tender and well flavored. The side of beans were just hot enough and had a ton of flavor of their own that only added to what the brisket was doing instead of subtracting from it. Great stuff! The hippy selling me the food was super friendly and everything looked clean and well maintained. I couldn't have asked for a better BBQ experience. When I did get to try Iron Works a couple days later, I was equally blown away by how good it was but...not MORE blown away. Keith's went toe-to-toe with Iron Works in my opinion. If you want good BBQ in Austin and you see this bus, you've gotta give it a try.

This is fantastic Texas BBQ. I've had just about all of the BBQ in central Texas and this is definitely one of the best I've ever tasted. You can tell when walking up to the truck from the lovely smell of the smoker that you're in the right place. I got the two meat combo with brisket and the pork ribs (best ribs I've ever had). The beans and cole slaw are both unique and tasty. It's an incredible value for the money and the guys working were polite and a pleasure to talk to. I write this from the office that currently still smells like delicious meaty ambrosia hoping they'll come back to our office regularly. Thanks y'all!

Wow it has been awhile since I wrote a review for Keith's BBQ. Over the years....same great food. Love the moist brisket! My friend prefers the lean cut. But you can order whatever you want...just order it as you wish! I had a sliced sandwich. Sauce served on the side. Love that you can choose to sauce it up as needed. That sausage link....oh my. The snap, the flavor, the lovely kick....such goodness. Best sausage ever! And put it on a flour tortilla! Keep it simple and enjoy the goodness! Ya don't even need bbq sauce.....unless ya really want it. Sausage stands tall all on its own.But the best part....the cute bus and the workers! So nice and love to see their faces (even with a mask on) every time I go there!Keep up the great work y'all!!!
