KC Donuts

Man do I love and MISS KC Donuts, the best donuts in Austin!!! I love the blueberry cake donuts, but the donut holes almost made me crash my car when I ate one on the drive home, still warm from the fryer. Try the donut holes when they reopen!!! The apple fritters are as big as a man's head. I love the double chocolate ones. Never tried the maple bacon. They have coffee and beverages and breakfast tacos, but I think the breakfast tacos taste a little sweet, like they got a little bit of powdered sugar on them just because they are made in a donut shop. This is not a criticism, just an observation. KC Donuts was damaged by a fire in October 2024 but I am anxiously waiting for them to reopen! No other donut will do.

This is my favorite donut shop in Austin, hands-down. It's local, reasonably priced, a variety of options, and no where has donut holes as amazing as KC Donuts.Must try if you love donuts!

KC's is great. But they are temporarily closed. They had a fire a few months ago. I drove by yesterday and they are still not open. Hopefully they will reopen soon & we can all enjoy their donuts again.

The perfect powdered donut holes do exist. Crispy and powdery goodness, here! They have kolaches pigs in a blanket, tacos and other savory items aside from the donuts. Friendly and fast staff. This place has become our staple go-to on Saturday mornings. Have tried at least 6 other donut places in Austin, and we finally found our donut place!

Hands down best donuts in Austin. A few months back, they had a fire and remain closed due to repairs. Hoping they open up soon!

Ahh... after years of searching, I have found a rival for Round Rock Donuts. KC makes great raised donuts - I was in heaven when I bit into the strawberry glazed one.The dough is so soft and gives into the bite... a heavenly experience.Their cases of donuts look all freshly made, not like they have been sitting our for half a day. I love freshly made anything and this checks the box. I also tried Boston creme, which was a thicc donut. It was tasty but I wish it was a little smaller so it could be more flavorful/manageable to eat. The cake donuts are goo, not great. They are too sweet, especially the maple one.My partner tried their kolache and he loved it. The workers were very helpful and even though there was a line, it moved quickly on the weekend day that we dropped by.

Cute little donut shop on Brodie Lane. There is always a line but it moves quickly. I am not a huge sweets fan but I wish I was because everything in the case looks amazing. I got a jalapeño and cheese kolache and it was fantastic.

I've been coming to KC donuts for years, and they have been consistently the best donuts I've had in Austin. Service is kind and friendly. The store itself is nothing but a hole in the wall, but what more do you need for a donut shop?! Try the maple bacon old fashioned! You won't be sorry.

The most delicious donuts in town. If you love old fashioned donuts especially, this is the place to go. Great service and a wide selection of baked goods and tacos. You can't go wrong with anything you order.

This is my favorite place for donuts in Austin. Skip that Shipleys across the street! What you want is KC donuts. The kolaches and croissant sandwiches are always fresh and yummy. The donuts are just the right amount of fluffy and chewy and glaze on top. I'm also a fan of their donut holes.
