Inside the shrimp toast. Decent flavor, generous portion, very crisp. Came with sweet sour sauce. August 2022
Spring Roll came as a side choice for my entree; not a fan of these nor their egg rolls.
outside
Egg Rolls as a side with my lemon chicken. Not my fave but I left them 'til last so I should try them again.
Pound of green mussels, added 3 extra corn. Various seasonings and five spice/heat levels from none to extra.
My Cajun menu green mussels had decent flavor and were certainly not undersized.
Generous lemon chicken entrée; I took the suggested sides of pork fried rice and egg roll.
the inside of the grill
Large Egg Drop Soup
Roast pork pad thai came with sprouts and lime wedges, solid serving. $10.55 August 2022
The Cajun menu does stipulate 3 sausage slices in your 1lb order but you can add more.
Food came stapled in a paper bag, and it was all hot on arrival.
Pork eggroll
Kung pao chicken
Chicken Noodle Soup, add extra green onion. The noodles were great, the broth and chicken weren't super flavorful.
Sesame chicken
1lb of shrimp trifecta seasoning mild heat.
food, oysters and mussels
Orange chicken came with broccoli, I chose white rice. Lovely burn in the sauce. I'd add extra broccoli next time.

Still a fan.$14 green mussels--add 3 pcs corn on the cob and 2 hard boiled eggs to stretch it for two adults--became $20.50. Craved crusty bread which wasn't on the menu so added a side of white rice to soak up some of the delicious juices. I never pass on their egg drop soup, to which I always add green onion. All this was $34 after tax and before cash tip, fed us well with snacky leftovers. They kindly included a bib and gloves without our requesting, and meal was ready for pickup at the predicted time.I like the medium level heat and lemon pepper flavor, but several choices are available for you. The standard 1lb meal includes 1 corn, 2 potatoes, and 3 slices of sausage with your selection. Not a ton but watch your add-ins as they add up quickly.

We got the green mussels (lemon pepper, medium heat), and Mrs. R added hard boiled eggs and extra corn.It was *delicious.* The mussels were extremely tasty and, together with the corn and potatoes, the whole thing was very filling. I came away extremely satisfied.

Only 33$ For a large portion of Sausage, Corn, Crawfish, Potatoes, and muscles. The taste was addicting I got the one where it's all three flavors, especially with the lemon it was mouth watering. I would get it a little on the spicer side though. I got a two and it wasn't spicy at all. Only one crawfish wasn't very tasty and was bad, granted it was in June and that's the end of the crawfish season. The sausage was a bit too strong and was a bit dry/tough and thin/small. I wouldn't suggest intentionally getting it.Other than those two criticisms it was really good?? I was surprised for the cheap price and bomb flavors. DEFINITELY coming back.

We ordered delivery from K Asian through GrubHub. Not being from this area, we were a little concerned about what we would get. Pleasantly surprised and pleased! We ordered the kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, egg drop soup, egg rolls, fried rice, and white rice. Both entrees arrived piping hot and both were exceptionally good. The kung pao was loaded with chicken, celery, peanuts, and lightly sauced. The sesame chicken arrived with broccoli, lightly battered, perfectly sauced, and very fresh. The egg drop soup was hot and served with crispy wonton strips. The egg rolls were crisp and filled with the perfect ratio of ingredients. The fried rice was a little lacking, but I rarely eat the rice, so that didn't affect this review. The portions are large. We have enough for another meal and a half. Highly recommend. Our total was $49.36, but that does include GrubHub fees plus tip. Great value for great food.

Great food here with large portions. I can usually make 2-3 meals out of an order of chicken & broccoli. I've never eaten at the restaurant or even been to the building, so I don't know how the service is inside, or how clean they keep it, but I have been ordering delivery from here for 5+ years now. It's always been delivered super quick and it's always piping hot when it arrives.I'm not sure why they added Cajun food to their menu and I have not tried any of it besides the boudin balls, but everything off of their Asian menu has been excellent. All in all this is probably my favorite place in San Marcos for takeout/delivery. It's the only place here that doesn't feel like a ripoff since the portions are large enough for more than one meal, and nearly all of it reheats so well.

KAsian Garden is in the former location of my beloved Which Wich. Wich made it worth a try.Given the name and billing as a Cajun/Asian restaurant, I was hoping for some sort of cuisine fusion. Nope. The menu is bifurcated "Cajun" and "Asian". And never the twain shall meet. They do have daily specials that are hugely portioned--but also heftily priced. There's been a mild makeover of the former sandwich shop. Some furnishings were held over from the former establishment. The tables and chairs look like they came from the late, great Rose Garden, which had me hopeful this was going to be a better experience than the Yelp 2.8 star rating. The ambience is OK, but nothing more. Much of that is due to the minimal remodel of the former Which Wich. It looks and feels like fast food.I ordered the Shrimp Kung Pao with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon. I got Shrimp Kung Pao with some strange looking Yellow Rice and Eggrolls. Not worth fretting over. The shrimp were small, but plentiful for the smallish divided plate. However, they were greatly outnumbered by the largish celery chunks, annoyingly so. The eggrolls were good, not greasy, but also not anything to write home about. The rice was plentiful, but a bit on the dry side.I would have been OK with three stars for this place, if I hadn't gotten up and used the restroom. While not exactly unwashed gas station filthy, it could use a good scrubbing. Even more concerning was the lack of sanitation around the soda fountain machine. Even their trash receptacle had an accumulation of grime around the intake that didn't just happen today. Or this week even.I'm not sick yet a day later, so I guess there's something to be said for that. are better places to eat in San Marcos. I'll stick with them instead.Sorry, folks. Not recommended for sanitation reasons.

Food was terrible, couldn't even finish it and threw it away. Beef was chewy. Chicken soup was very bland and soggy noodles.
