Korean barbecue is my favorite type of food, so if you love it as much as I do, you have to visit K BBQ! I've tried several KBBQ places in the Austin area, but none of them have topped this one in my opinion. Not only is the food so fresh, but they also have a cool robot that delivers your food right to the table. It's a fun touch that adds to the experience.I always do the all-you-can-eat option and order multiple rounds of brisket and bulgogi. The sesame and gochujang sauce that come on the side are so flavorful and add to the taste of the meat. The cheese corn is my favorite side and is always perfectly creamy. The atmosphere and service are fantastic, and the big family-sized tables make it a great spot to take friends and family. Highly recommend K BBQ for anyone looking for a great korean barbecue restaurant in Austin!

Please note that there are two services you got when you eat here: If you eat all you can eat: they will give you plenty of rice and as much as banchan. If you order non all you can eat: your bowl of rices weren't filled full and extra banchan will be charged $3 each. We usually order non all you can eat since the quality of meats are better and we can't eat that much. Even as yesterday, 3 adults and one kid, there is only $10 different btw AYCE vs NonAYCE. We chose Non AYCE and they start charging you every single little thing.

We visited this restaurant for the first time as a group of three: two adults and a 5-year-old child. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The staff was not very welcoming, and it felt like we were not appreciated as customers. We did not receive any menu recommendations or explanations, even though we mentioned that it was our first visit. Our child doesn't eat meat and only had a small portion of plain white rice, which was served with our meal. Despite this, an additional charge for the child ($28-$30) was initially included in the bill. After we pointed it out, the charge was removed, but the staff did not apologize or say goodbye when we left.We expected a higher level of service and hospitality. Hopefully, the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer experience.

I don't get the hype of these places tbh. They are expensive, you have to cook all the food yourself, and when the middle burner is just getting hot enough, the employees want to take it to be cleaned. The food was good but I felt wasn't amazing or anything to write home about and the service was a little strange with the almost unnecessary amount of employees that asked if we were okay. Just lemme eat!Overall, not bad, but probably won't go again. If it's your thing you'll probably like it but it's a no for me dawg.

Stuck between 3 and 4 stars but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. PARKING IS TERRIBLE, just a head up, even going for an early dinner at 5 pm! But since we did get there at 5 pm on a Saturday we got seated immediately with no reservation but if you're planning to come at normal dinner time, see if you can make a reservation. We did the all you can eat option A and it was a new experience for the rest of my family to eat family style and cook your own meats but it was fun, especially for my brother birthday dinner. Definitely on the slightly pricier side, about $37 per person for the AYCE Option A. The rules are very obviously stated on the menu, gratuity for parties over 5, 2 hour limit, extra charges if you end up wasting too much food, but I think it's smart because this really encourages people to not over order and waste food plus the rules are CLEARLY stated so you can't be mad. The beef bulgogi and spicy pork were our favorite meats and all of the accompaniments were great also. We tried the octopus as well, which was interesting but hard to tell once it was fully cooked since none of us have experience with that. I've been to a korean bbq place in NY which was a lot nicer, more organized and way less confusion for newcomers. If you are not new to this type of eating experience it'll be great and easy for you but if you're new to it like everyone else in my family it can be a little confusing especially if no one explains what's going on lol. We had multiple servers around, some were ok, one of them was very kind and attentive though.

Not the best name for searchability but I guess that's great for us since it was pretty empty when we showed up for lunch over break, while kpot across the street was a 1 hour wait and line out the door. Their lunch ayce bbq deal is a best kept secret. For 29.99, you can eat all the meats you want with a delicious variety of Korean side dishes! My bf's first time doing kbbq and he still raves about this experience randomly... we will be back!!!

This place nails it every time and today was exceptional! The service from start to finish was so attentive. It was very busy and they still came to our table and made sure that our grill was replaced frequently, our sauces were filled, and our drinks were replaced. I've never had such fast and attentive service here, it really was a game changer. This spot is already a bop but after tonight this is going to be one of my favs. I hope they keep it up with the great food and service!

I've been here a couple times and each time I go it's like they somehow manage to get more efficient and quick with their service. They're quick to seat you, quick to get your food out and cook for you, and replace your grill when it gets dirty. Good selection of meats and sides

Loved this place! It's so fun to find great Korean food. This place is nice because you can select the all you can eat BBQ or the entree options. I love myself an all you can eat Korean BBQ spot, but this time I went for something a little bit different and I tried the bibimbap. We absolutely loved the banchan, it tasted really good. The cheese corn was also a winner. This place can accommodate so many people, it's huge! It's located in a nice spot with a lot of Asian stores near by. I can't wait to come again!

The restaurant's approach to their "All You Can Eat" option is quite rigid. They don't allow customers at the same table to mix regular entrées with the "All You Can Eat" option, which meant our group was asked to sit at separate tables just because not everyone wanted the AYCE deal. This policy makes it feel like they're forcing every guest to spend at least $37, rather than offering a more flexible dining experience.Additionally, they seem overly focused on preventing customers from "taking advantage" of the AYCE option. After initially approving our request, they later backtracked and told us we couldn't mix orders, delivering the message through a staff member rather than addressing it directly. This made the experience feel impersonal and unwelcoming. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Not worth $233 dollars.
