Junction Cafe

Returned for breakfast and was able to say it was good ! Not scratch made gravy, biscuits, or hash browns, but the portions were good sized and worth the $. The biscuit was fluffy and warm ! A local hangout for gentlemen having their coffee and area workers eating a bite. Friendly staff ... Stop in and grab a bite if you're in the area. It beats fast food and you can listen to the local chatter if you time it right !

The large chicken fried steak has to represent 'Everything is Bigger and Better in Texas' They have a Hamburger, Catfish Friday and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. They offer and increasable full menu.SincerelyKevin Nicks

I love this place but today the CFS was flattened so much there was mostly batter. Hopefully this won't happen again. Thanks

I was a little bummed out. I ate here one time about 5 months ago and it was fabulous. The second time which was very recent I got the order to go. The fries were all limp and not very nice at all. The brownie dessert tasted like ice cream from DQ. Definitely not worth buying the dessert. The only thing I really liked was the chicken fried steak and the green beans.

The food here is amazing! No mater if you eat breakfast or lunch. Service fantastic. quick and reasonably priced. Check it out

Best Little Mom & Pop Cafe in Central TexasThis place opened up as a second location for the now defunct Hobo Junction Cafe in Liberty Hill who lost their lease. My family eats here multiple times weekly and the staff is always absolutely golden. Most of them have become our friends so a visit to The Junction Cafe for us is almost like family. It doesn't hurt that my Pastor's wife works there too. The owner and kitchen manager met in culinary school and the latter is a transplant from Louisiana so he brings a Creole perspective that is often quite evident in the specials and daily side dishes so the results are Emeril and your Grandma cranking it out bad there. It's so good it makes your tongue want to jump out of your mouth and slap your brains out. I can't say enough good about the place. I think I just talked myself into a Hobo Omelet, Hash Brown's and an English Muffin, crunchy from the griddle for breakfast today. Some others have complained about slow service but I only see this on really busy evenings and delays can occur any place that is packed wall to wall like this place on Friday Nights when they have their Catfish Special with all the sides and Fried Shrimp as an optional add on. Sometimes we can't get into the parking lot on Friday Evenings so we head across the street for some of the best Tex-Mex and the worst service you ever had but that is another restaurant review. Give The Junction Cafe a try. If it's breakfast or lunchtime ask for Jenny or Susan as servers, I love them both and there are none better!

Great service and great country style food! Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious! I feel like I'm at home when I eat there!

Down Home cooking. Busy for breakfast, but one day we will be there. Lunch time is a lot of locals. Catfish Fridays is awesome. There is at times they get really busy and forget to refill your tea, but hey, so do it. The place is clean and welcoming. Small but, I like it!!

I returned to this awesome restaurant on 7.23.24, and the staff did not disappoint my returned expectations. The chicken-fried steak is both the largest and most tasty that I have ever had in many years. Thanks again to the wonderful young lady who took care of me.

Delicious home cooked breakfast was served with excellent cup of coffee. My husband shared the pancake with the. Waitress was attentive and honest. She politely advised the pancake would be quite large. She should have said "gigantic". Looking forward to bringing family when they come visit.
