Julie's Handmade Noodles

Probably the best Chinese food I have had in Texas. The dumpling skin was thick and chewy the way it should be. The chow mein noodles had THAT taste they should have that is very distinct and that other places here can't capture. The beef burrito was so tasty. I would have liked a little more scallion in the actual pancake though. Fried rice was good but too many green onions. Although I am weird about how and when I like my green onions. It was a little pricey but delicious. Our new go to for Chinese takeout.

Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Don't be fooled by the menu they display! The menu only shows what they have daily but supposedly they have the full menu on WeChat. (I don't have WeChat so I can't confirm) I came to the spot after looking at options on Yelp but their display menu seemed to have very limited options and I wasn't hyped over the listed options. The lady handed over another customer's order and gave some recommendations to me as she saw my indecisiveness. I'm so glad I stuck around! To be honest I don't know what the dish I got is called since I speak/understand limited Chinese but anything with noodles and beef sounded good to me. The food was very quick and is flavorful enough by itself without adding spiciness! The spicy does give it a little zing. I love how thin the beef slices are. The noodles in the dish were unique... similar to slices up scallion pancake. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Clutch lunch option, always seem to be open when some of the other food trucks around it open more towards dinner and late night. I have had the Chinese sausage chow mein and the big plate chicken and I would get both again. Great portions and value.

Had delivery via Uber Eats so I can't comment on the atmosphere. Ordered a mix of things and all were very good. I would order from them again. 11. Dumpling Mixed Order: I wasn't sure what type of dumplings came in the order when ordering but I'm they were all very good. 28. Black fungus: this is a cold dish if you like wood eat mushrooms this has good flavor and has a fresh taste to it. 12. Wonton soup l: the wontons are fresh and large but i would have preferred for them to put the broth separately for delivery. Suan Tsai rice noodle soup this was good. It is spicy but not too spicy. The balance of the spice and pickled vegetables is nice. The noodles came on the side which is perfect since I really just wanted the broth. I did try the noodles and they were very good. Had a nice soft texture

This place was damn good and very affordable too! Really was not expecting this quality for the price. But then again when I walked in it was packed full with Asian aunties + uncles so that's prob how u kno it's already gonna be goodI was told by my friend that the suan tsai was interesting (it's kind of a soury pickly flavor) so I decided to try it. The beef that came w it was so deliciously fatty and thinly sliced. I was seriously having the time of my life when I was eating it but maybe I was just hungry lolThe xiaolongbaos hit the spot too!

The food was unique and although I enjoyed the family style food, one of the lady's were exceptionally rude. They forgot my food and when I told her, she walked away. Only the guy at the counter was sweet. Also, even though I spent well over 100 dollars, the lady didn't want to give me containers for my soup even though I purchased 3 soup dishes for my large family. When I asked her if they had containers she walked away from me. Then she went behind the counter and laughed and said to the guy up front that she was going to charge me for it because it's only two containers per table even though I made multiple purchases and there was 8 of us. This lady ruined our entire night and for this reason, we will not be returning. Had the guy at the front not been sweet, I would've given 1 star. Customer service can make or break a restaurant. For us, she broke it. I will spend my money elsewhere.

All of my friends said that Julie's had the best hand pulled-noodles in Austin. I enjoyed the noodles I got, but since I don't really like soup noodles anyways, I don't have super strong opinions on the place. However, the wait is long on weekends since it is so popular.

This is my absolute favorite food truck ever. The noodles are super authentic, I feel like I'm in China.My go to dish is the egg and tomato noodles. Egg and tomatoes is a super popular dish in China and the noodles were the perfect complement to it. The fat chewy noodles are perfectly cooked sitting in the tomato sauce. This dish would satisfy anyone's cravings.My only complaint is that the food truck does take forever to make the dish so I would definitely not recommend for large groups since there's only one man working there. And they are often not open in the hours that they say they are, so call ahead to make sure they're open.

This cute little food truck served a banger chicken chow mein. This plate of food was super filling and pretty damn spicy. The chicken was cooked well and vegetable-to-noodle ratio was perfect I love chicken chow mein and this one HIT ‍

This place has recently become more popular and I absolute love that for them! The noodles were out of this world. Probably some of the best I've had ever. The service is great too.
