From a distance, I thought I was going to visit a restaurant called the human ranch. I wonder if they can change the lettering on the sign! The food is exquisite, with a tantalizing touch of particular spices and delicately sliced onions that make the Hunan dishes Very popular. The thing about Chinese food, is there are 1.2 billion restaurants in the western hemisphere. So what makes the Hunan ranch different?First off, I have to say from experience, the water was outstanding. I don't know what the pH level is of that water, or exactly whether it's two parts hydrogen, and one part oxygen, one part hydrogen, and parts oxygen. But, whatever the organic chemical combination is that makes their water so pure and delicious, as well as thirst quenching, they need to market it.I felt 10 years younger by drinking from the Hunan Ranch fountain of youth water fountain. The wonton soup was particularly delicious, probably because the wontons were swimming in that wonderfully oxidized water that they use for broth. I highly recommend the Hunan beef, or the shrimp fried rice, as the portions are large and the flavor bountiful with a bouquet of melodic, spices, and herbs.The lo mein ought to be called the high main because it is so tasty. In fact, I believe that the aroma that you smell outside, the restaurant is partially coming from the skillet that makes their lo mein. The glasses that hold the water with the ice cubes dancing ever so carefully and de clear drinkable liquid, are well designed and clean. You don't have to order the ice cubes or the water to get water at this place.The prices are good I would say even great, but that's because my friend bought me lunch. Seriously, the service is outstanding, and you will leave with a belly full of wonderful oriental calories. If you can remember, order some of that water to go so that you can share it with members of your family that did not join you for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Hail to the chef who made a creative menu and turned Hunan Ranch into something wonderfully separate from the 1.2 billion other Chinese places that exist in North America.

Service here is excellent, i like that you can order online and pay at the counter that's something most places don't endorse which is nice, it makes me feel as though i get the experience of service prior to tipping, which i would never not tip these workers they're amazing! Their website is informative of pick up times when they're busy which is excellent, and the food is AMAZING. I love asian food and this place never disappoints, when i first ordered from here i was surprised by the prices but then i got the portions and oh lord they're massive, one order can feed two people for sure and that's more than i can ask for from this place. Crab rangoons are to die for teriyaki chicken is fucking amazing, and egg rolls are amazing. I prefer this place to panda express they're far better in every way and more cost efficient!!

Came here while visiting Austin. There is free parking , no wait time and service was friendly and prompt. Wife enjoyed the hot and sour soup but the best was the chicken corn soup it was so delicious. We shared a fried egg roll same as others restaurants. Wife had the sesame chicken and got it spicy which is was. The chicken was tender and the fish was delicious. I tried the Mongolian beef, meat was very tender strips with onions and bell peppers which were fresh and crisp and not overly cooked. It was spicy as I kept drinking water lol but addictive. The fried rice was tender and helped with neutralize my palate from the hotness lol. Definitely recommend

Food Fantastic Service started out good, but when asked for another to go box ... my wife recognized that Chubby ANA our Waitress made a bad comment about us! Then the younger girl laughed loud and the older woman!And then I told my wife not to tip her very good, but she did anyway. After spending 3K last year on to go, we decided to go there and eat. Bad bad mistake. Do not go there unless you want to be talked about.Unbelievable .

It was Just ok....The dinner prices seemed reasonable and the portion size was on the larger side, but this is Texas! I asked for No MSG due to an allergy however, I found the sauces to be completely bland. I found my beef dishes, specifically the meat a bit on the slimy side. I ordered beef lo main and the beef and broccoli. Not sure I will try this spot a second time as there are many other options in this area of Austin.

We Ubered lunch from here today. It was package so well, with cardboard reinforcement and vent holes. Still warm and fresh! They offered 2 for 1 on soups and shrimp rolls. Everything was delish and so fresh. And I have food for days- portions were huge. Thanks for a great meal.

Have been here before and food was good. Went in today at lunch and stood at the wait stand for ten minutes. No one ever came to seat me or ask me if I needed anything. Restaurant had a lunch rush, but wasn't that busy.
