Cute little dessert spot! - Ample parking in the lot outside, in front of what looks like apartments- Super crowded when we went on a Saturday at 10 PM, but a great hang out spot for after dinner - You order at the cashier and receive a buzzer. When your order is ready, you bring the buzzer back to the counter- We got the mango trio and it was really good! The coconut ice cream was my favorite part- Lots of seating for small & large groups! Will be back to try more!

Mango perfection since 1960! A Hong Kong chain that specializes in yummy treats such as fruity drinks, mochi, glutinous rice porridge, puddings and sweet soups with an array flavors like mango, durian, pomelo, osthmanthus, aloe, watermelon and more. Small shop, bright, clean and plenty of parking as it's located in a mixed apartment/retail setup. The mango mochi and pomelo, mango & coconut drink are my favorite items. Definitely check this out, you'll find yourself craving them often!

I've been to the Austin location three times now, each time bringing someone new to share how amazing this place is! As a mango lover, this is hands-down my favorite dessert spot ever. I've tried so many things on the menu, and I keep coming back to the mango chewy ball (with extra mango instead of the coconut balls--absolute perfection). The mango coconut ice cream in the middle is unbelievably delicious! I also tried the mango yogurt drink, which initially tasted like a deconstructed mango lassi until I mixed it.One time, I was tempted by one of the teas on display, and even though the cashier warned me, I still gave it a shot. Let's just say I regretted that one, but hey, you live and learn! Now, I just stick to the mango bowls--they never disappoint. The ambience is great too there is usually plenty of seating and a clean bathroom. I've also been to the Houston location, which is just as amazing. The only downside is parking--it's such a struggle. One time, I parked in the garage across the street and ended up with a flat tire. I have SO many photos of this place but the new photos update on the iphone makes them impossible to find :(

IMO, this place has the best mango coconut desserts in Austin! My usual go to drink orders are their mango sago or their passion fruit coconut jelly drink. I believe the only non-dairy drink is the passion fruit coconut jelly, for all those who are lactose intolerant. The service is usually quick and friendly. Whenever I go, there's plenty of seating available and this is a good spot for dessert after dinner at Bamboo House or if you're waiting to be seated!

My wife and I came here for the first time on a Friday night around 7 PM. The place was poppin'! We had finished eating dinner and we were looking for some dessert in the area and stumbled upon Hui Lau Shan. The restaurant is limited on seating inside, but does have some seating spaces outside. Parking wasn't too much of an issue, it shares a lot with an apartment complex among other businesses that are next to it. We ordered the Mango Chewy Ball and split it. It was the perfect size for two. The dessert was super fresh and definitely made (along with the rest of the menu) for mango-lovers everywhere. I loved the different textures within--the mango, the chewiness of the white ball pieces, and the ice cream/gelato-like scoop in the middle, surrounded by mango juice/syrup. It was really good. Would definitely come back to try more!

This is a popular spot and a must for mango lovers! The mango tastes so fresh and sweet. It's a cute spot but can definitely get crowded at times (I've had times where it was struggle to find a spot to sit!) but the service is usually pretty efficient and it's a nice spot to get some dessert with friends that's sweet but not too sweet.

Even out of season the mango desserts were really tasty. We tried a drink, mango pancake, durian pancake, and the hk bubble waffle ice cream. All were good, and we'd go back again. Pricey tho, $7-8 per dessert.

Every time I visit the Bay Area I need to stop by Hui Lau Shan for their mango pomelo bowl. But now I can go so close to home in Austin! Their mango pomelo is one of the most refreshing desserts I've ever had. And somehow they manage to get sweet ripe mangos year round! It's definitely enough to share with like 3-4 people. I also really recommend the mango mochi they sell in a six pack.

I absolutely love Hui Lau Shan!! Came here multiple times and never disappointed. It's originated from Hong Kong and I have loved it since I had it for the first time! I always get their D5 since it offers a variety of ingredients such as aloe, mango, sago, and jelly inside the drink. Parking is a bit tricky in the area since it's shared with other businesses and apartment residents near by. But they do offer complimentary parking garage for 2 hours - the only concern is that the spaces are very tiny (for compact vehicles)Highly recommend it if you are in the area!

Mango heaven for mango lovers! Located right next to Bamboo House on Airport and Lamar, had to come and try some delicious mango treats. So many options to choose from so I asked and got one of the favorites which was the mango sago. Had freshly cut mango with some kind of coconut cream that went so well together and was a nice cold treat on a warm Austin day. Servers gave their recommendations for interesting things to try as well so I'll definitely come back!
