So so excited to have Veracruz All Natural tacos out in LA. The migas taco in a homemade flour tortilla instantly took me back to Austin mornings, I could eat a grilled fish taco all day and especially this one, and the cochinita pibil was so juicy and crunchy in the fried shell. And the salsas!Really great to have this in the Line Hotel parking lot. I can't wait to come back. You can also preorder for pickup: https://order.dripos.com/Hot-Tacos-+-Line-Hotel

Pretty damn good! I took the advice of other reviewers and they were right! The migas taco is the way to go. It's delicious. I would get 2 or 3 if I went again. ;)I also got the cochinta pibil and it was good as well. Not spicy at all. The salsas were good. The spiciness of the medium and hot weren't all that different but the flavor was. The medium is a green salsa, more fresh and the hot was orange and a touch smokey. The guacamole was good as well but a little too much lime for me and maybe the avocados could have been a little more ripe.Love trying new taco places and this didnt disappoint. Thanks yelpers!

Ordered combo platter of 2 tacos beef and fish that came with chips and salsa and a Agua frescas watermelon drink. Also ordered the chicken quesadilla. Service was pretty fast on a not so busy Thursday night. Tacos were very good. They were deep fried and the the green and orange spicy sauce that came with them were really good. They have double tortillas like street tacos but these were dep fries and crunchy. Loved bother the fish and beef tacos very tasty. Chips were homemade and very crunchy and went well with the fresh guacamole. The chicken quesadilla was good but next time I would probably order the El Pastor or beef quesadilla. This also came with the green and orange sauce. I would definitely come back and either get the same tacos or maybe try something new. Almost forgot the agua frescas watermelons was really good. Not to sweet but really refreshing. I would get that again for sure.

NOTE: Dined in my car on 12/11/2021, but there are outdoor tables there as well! Valet let me park for a short period of time, but you mileage may vary. My apologies for not taking a photo of the migas tacos - they weren't much to look at after unwrapping them and we devoured them VERY quickly.LA's official food is tacos and deservingly so. I have never been to a single metropolitan area that contains so many different types of tacos stemming from different cultures, techniques, incorporation of unique ingredients... it's honestly incredible. One area that our wonderful city has been lacking in when it comes to tacos are Texmex-style migas. Yeah, we have HomeState, but that's about it. The one complaint I'll hear from Texans who come to visit are that we don't offer good queso nor good migas. Enter Hot Tacos, brought to us by one of the most popular migas spots in Austin, Veracruz. Now, I actually haven't been to Veracruz in Austin, so I can't really make a comparison, but perhaps that's even better, as I can craft a review from more of a "blind" experience without expectations.Starting off with something more familiar (and since it was a cold day), we opted to try out the birria. Honestly, it's comparable to most other birria spots in LA, but the consome is REALLY good. Rich, flavorful, piping hot. If you somehow got your tongue stuck on a pole, this is what you would use to lubricate yourself to get out. That would still hurt like crazy, though... so don't do it! The main attraction awaits you when you order the migas here. "Migas" literally means crumbs, but refers to the use of leftover ingredients like stale tortillas or bread in a dish. Now, these tortillas are freshly made if you order flour, so that's the route we selected. If you want it to be more photo-friendly, you can go for the corn tortillas. Those are dyed with beet juice to give your tortilla a signature pink hue. We opted for bacon in one taco and chorizo in the other. For me, the gold standard in chorizo is over at tire shop taqueria. Second place goes to The Chori-man in San Pedro. I enjoy my chorizo grilled until the outside is crispy and has that smokiness imbued into it. The chorizo here is definitely NOT like that. The bacon, though... the bacon is very well cooked. Crunchy and yet still retains some wonderfully indulgent fattiness to it. Perfectly complements the Monterey Jack cheese, black beans, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, tortilla chips, and a little bit of avocado. Yes, these tacos are JAM-PACKED and you'll be able to taste each element individually as you devour it. They're a little pricey, but trust me, that bacon one is 100% worth the price of admission. Unfortunately, it looks like the truck is no longer here but hopefully it comes back soon because despite being surrounded by all sorts of delicious tacos in this city, I feel like we're missing something now that Hot Tacos is gone.

Run don't walk to Hot Tacos AKA Veracruz All Natural of Austin, Texas.I am extremely picky on newly opened places that I hit up on opening week.Veracruz All Natural is a heavy hitter in the Austin food scene so much that they have expanded from their humble trailer.Mr. Jonathan Gold recommended Veracruz All Natural to me when we were both in Austin for SXSW.Definitely put Hot Tacos on your radar or "must eat list." This is a taco that is considered among the best of the best in Austin. The thing you will want to order is the migas tacos "Texas style." For some reason they decided to tweak their Texas recipe and add carrots. I tasted it, and it's not as good. I repeat, get the migas tacos "Texas style" on a flour tortilla. You can park at valet for 15 minutes and take your tacos to go. This area is kinda shady and I had trouble finding a "safe" spot in the neighborhood so you might want to pay for parking at the Line Hotel or find metered parking (if you're lucky). Normally I would find a local park to eat my pandemic era takeout, but I didn't have the patience to search for a decent and safe park in this neighborhood. I just wanted to eat my food freshly made and hot. You don't want to take these home or the chips in the migas tacos will get soggy. One bite while I shut my eyes, I imagined myself back in Austin having one of the best bites ever. The texture. The flavor. This taco is sublime. They gave me their fresh mango agua fresca to try and it is so so good if you're a mango lover -- do not sleep on this either! To complete the Austinite experience, order the Topo Chico.Go eat here now before the line gets crazy long once more people hear about these magical Tex-Mex tacos!

Tried this place after finishing our morning walk with the pup. Got here around noon and got the food to go. Parking: truck is located inside the line hotel. We just walked in. Wait: no wait. Food took about 5 mins to come out. Food: 3/5. Just wanted to try it after a walk so I am judging the whole place from its signature taco. I got the migas taco which is their version of the breakfast taco and the medium hot sauce. I ate it at home which is about 5 mins away. By the time I opened it up whole taco was soggy from the beans/heat. Flavor was ok, but the salsa overpowers the flavor of the taco so if you try it go easy on the sauce. Environment: 4/5. they got an instagramable set up. Fake grass and bar style tabletops on site is a nice touch.Service: n/a as we got it to go. Wouldn't expect service at any taco truck. Overall, this place is about average. ~$7 for a taco seems a bit steep. Competition in the area for tacos is high so you may be more successful trying another place. If you are staying at the Line hotel, this is extremely convenient.

Excellent. They open at noon on Sundays. Got the steak taco and pork quesadilla. Taco shell was crispy and flavorful, steak was juicy and tender. Loved the cabbage and toppings. Complemented it very nicely. Quesadilla was a bit sloppy, but so gooey and yummy. Pork had a lot of flavor and it was oozing with cheese. Def stop in while in Austin

I love tacos! And Hot Tacos did not disappoint! I had the Migas breakfast tacos and they were bomb! And they had a pink corn tortilla, so cool! J oh also got a watermelon agua Fresca and it was so fresh and delicious. They had some really yummy other flavors also. I'll have to try the pineapple on my next stop and the citrus pork tacos which sounded amazing! Also staff was great and super friendly. Can't wait to go back :)

We came for the migas taco which was what all the press has been writing about as a great breakfast (read egg filled) taco, however we were more impressed with the cochinita pibil, marinated in orange juice and achiote. This has easily got to be the best tasting cochinita pibil that we've tried. Usually, for some odd reason, they end up being dry. We ordered both with flour tortillas. We'd easily come back if we were in the area again to try some of the other options.

If you're in K'Town and find yourself hungry for something delicious and Latino, you must stop and try some Hot Tacos by Veracruz. Their food is the kind that Los Angeles has needed for a long time. I saw them on the KTLA Morning News, and when I found their truck, I headed straight for it!!! $$ price for food! Learn their story too!!!
