We stopped by here for a birthday brunch while in dripping springs for a wedding. Food was great. We had the big a$$ bloody Marys, which was like a whole separate meal.Fries are really good. It's amazing how a little attention to detail and some spice can really upgrade basic fries. More places should bother. The BLTECA looked simple on arrival but the flavor was delicious. Quavo rancheros looked great.Casual ambience and delicious chili and down-home wait staff make this a great authentic place to stop for deliciousness. Lovely children playground and the bathroom was nice and clean. The staff at Homespun are kind and helpful, ready to help with your meal.

Homespun Kitchen and Bar is one of my favorite eateries in Dripping Springs. The food has alway been scrumptious and decided to return on a chilly Saturday. They have a very small bar and indoor seating that resembles a country cabin. There is also seating outside under a covered deck. I ordered the B.L.T.E.C.A. that stands for Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, over-Easy egg, sharp cheddar Cheese, and sliced Avocado. It within a grilled sourdough toast. I selected a side of mashed potatoes. The sandwich was presented very nicely and tasted very good. All the ingredients worked very well together giving great flavor including the mashed potatoes. Kudos the delicious sweet tea.

This place should have a 5.0, everything was delicious. Sat in the back-covered patio area on a Sunday for brunch. it was comfortable on a chilly day with stand-up heaters and good music. Service was excellent. Can't wait to come back :).

Great restaurant in Dripping Springs! Awesome food and drinks! Excellent service! Bartenders are amazing!

Nice atmosphere and good food. I had fish & chips.My son and grandson say that this place has the best chicken fried steak in the Hill country. Our server was busy but still attentive. We will return

We tried this as a 1st time on Mother's Day. Big disappointment. If you are looking for more traditional brunch breakfast food, this isn't your place. I had the eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, potatoes and sourdough toast plate. The "ham" is 1 piece of Canadian bacon. The sausage was from a frozen section at the grocery store. The sourdough toast was literally bread from the grocery store and not even toasted. The potatoes were barely cooked. The chicken and waffles that my husband and son ordered seemed a bit better than my meal. Nothing special though. Ambiance is very crammed. Service was ok.

What a delightful find in a small town for a healthy farm to table restaurant! The staff was extremely nice and gave great recommendation.We ordered the grilled shrimp tostadas, chicken fried steak, and the fried catfish ponchartrain. Tostados we're so yummy, chicken fried steak came with a nice creamy gravy, the catfish was cooked well but was a bit under seasoned. We also got key lime pie and ores cheesecake. The key lime was incredible!Overall a great place with good food and amazing drinks! Definitely will be coming back!

This is our new go to in dripping springs. The dishes are solid southern comfort food, the drink options many, and the ambiance is genuine. The people really make this spot special. Everyone is nice, friendly, and authentic. They have musicians almost every night, and plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. The food was also good. The chicken fried chicken with gravy was a favorite of ours. The chicken was cooked so well- crispy but not dry. Shrimp tostadas were surprisingly delicious, but the best thing we had was the key lime pie. I normally dont do dessert but YOU HAVE TO. Its the owners own recipe and it's amazing. Pair that with one of their many great cocktails to the music backdrop and you will have a great night!Overall highly recommend- We will be back for sure.

Nice local place that we were excited to try. However, after being seated by the hostess and not being helped for the next 20 minutes was a let down. We walked out having never been approached by a waitstaff person. Disappointed. I guess we will never know how this place really is.

It's a fun little joint that clearly has a lot of regulars. The service was outstanding and Austin went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's shrimp allergy. We will for sure be back the next time we come through. The fried green tomatoes were out of this world! Son had fried fish platter and there was NOTHING left. Daughter rated the mac and cheese as the best she's EVER had (and let me tell ya! That kid has had a TON of mac and cheese!). Hubs and I were thrilled with our chicken fried steaks as well!
