Fun little spot in downtown with pool tables. Drinks were good and the staff was very friendly. The staff informed us you can also order food and bring it in.

I love this bar! My friend and I ate dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant and we wanted to end the night with a nice cocktail. We stumbled upon Higbie's and we were not disappointed. It was a weekday night so they had great specials going on! Taco, the bartender, was awesome! I loved the creepy and whimsical art work. I can't wait to go back here again soon!

I randomly discovered Higbie's a few months ago when I saw on IG that they're doing $1 margaritas on the first Sunday of the month. The bar was steady but not busy and I got to know the bartenders Ty & Kelly. Absolutely love them.Have been back a few times and some nights are super slammed for the promo, which is less fun for you're just trying to get your $1 drink on lol. But Ty and Kelly and the others are always hustling and will get you taken care of.The bar itself is in a weird spot so I don't really know how they do on days that aren't the first Sunday of the month. Hope they stick around for awhile!

Great bar with pool tables and couches that trimThe walls. Drinks are reasonably priced and great bartenders. We went on a Monday night so we had the whole place to ourselves. They said they do $1 margaritas on Sunday. The bathrooms are great bc of the photos of the owner. Make sure to look if you have to use the restroom.

My girlfriend and I travel to Austin for work every couple of months. Higbie's quickly became one of our favorite spots. Somehow it keeps up a small town, friendly charm, while also having great quality cocktails. The oaxacan negroni and espresso martinis are as standouts. Most importantly, though, there is a gentleman that works there named Taco. He is super friendly, makes great cocktails, and overall is an amazing bartender. He is the embodiment of Southern hospitality. Thanks Taco and Higbie's! We'll be back for sure.

Came from California for New Year's Eve, found this bar randomly on our way to 6th street. Great atmosphere, great staff, great drinks. For New Year's Eve they had a 5 dollar cover charge and 5 dollar drinks all night. Taco and Izzy were amazing host. Wish we had them in California. Definitely recommend, 10/10. If you want a really good margarita drink, order the "mag-arita" made by taco.

We stumbled upon this bar while exploring downtown. They had a special that day for $1 margs. We ended up getting doubles, which felt like it had the strength of a single, but can't complain for that price. The margarita on the rocks was pretty good and it was served in a little plastic cup. The interior is a vibe with lights in the ceiling, greenery, and funny pictures all over the walls. If ever in the area again, we'd stop by!

This place is definitely a vibe whenever I go whether is out with friends or coworkers after work the cocktails ,the bartenders & the service is phenomenal the Dj and the playlist is always on point totally recommend this bar to austin locals and also my fellow industry colleagues

The bartender Taco was so great and made amazing drinks for me and my friend for my 50th birthday tonight.He had great energy and told us all about the establishment and was very hospitable and made us feel welcome to come back
