The food was pretty good! I do wish that the berry yogurt wasn't so runny kinda felt like I was eating a smoothie. And the granola was a bit hard to chew. The service was ok because everything is through the phone now so you don't get that one on one interaction with the server & sadly you have to order everything through the phone & serve yourself coffee. The ambiance is nice! Clean place and nice location by the fwy in which you can sit outside & enjoy the city outdoors

Been here twice in the last three years. Food here is GOOD! What is off and could be better is the service. The wait time has always been long and once seated you won't be greeted by a waiter/waitress. You scan a QR code and order everything from your table so if you have questions or need modifications...GET UP and go ask them up front. You can also order at the front which means you get seated and once you know you have to go back and place your order with the workers up front. While ordering, it also asks you to leave a tip which bothered me so much. Once the food came they dropped it off and that's when I remembered you have to go get your own utensils and water. They also only have plastic "to-go cups" which is a big waste and so bad for the environment. Would I come back? MAYBE. I just don't like not having a server so probably not.

Living in Southeast Austin, there aren't many dining options outside of tacos. Unfortunately, after my first try, The Hideaway didn't leave much of an impression. I really wanted to like this place since it offers a more casual, classic brunch. However, it feels more like a bar or a tavern. The food is overpriced (seriously, $25 for chicken and waffles?). It has potential, but it feels wasted. It needs a major facelift to grow with the rest of Austin.

I came to Hideaway for a brunch. We had a lot of guests so we sat in the private room down the hall from the entrance. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and blueberries. The portion was probably enough for two people. The French toast was savory and paired well with the fruit and sweet syrup. I tasted my friend's breakfast quesadilla and it was delicious as well. The mimosa carafe had about 6 servings of mimosas for my friend and I. Overall, the service was good. The restaurant was decorated with modern decor with tributes to Austin.

My coworkers and I walked to Hideaway for breakfast, it's super close to our office. We were instantly greeted and given menus. It was very quiet and not very busy. The food was good enough and because it is convenient, I think we will be back.

We were looking for a breakfast restaurant when we had to drop our car off at the dealership for service, and this restaurant popped up. It's located off of the I 35 Service Rd. and it is a very eclectic restaurant inside to say the least. However, the service was very pleasant, and they were very attentive to us. We tried their breakfast - we tried scrambled eggs with bacon and mashed potatoes and over easy eggs with the same bacon and mashed potatoes. Food was good and service was very quick. The experience was nice.

Has live music! Tip: check in and get a free drink Great place to have breakfast/brunch. The entrance has a pivot door, which is pretty cool! The chicken biscuit with the sauce was really good.

We ate here last Saturday and enjoyed it. The place is actually located in between two different hotel buildings, so just be aware of that on the way over. The outside seating area is pretty cool and they have inside seating as well. Keira also was the waitress who brought our food out after we ordered via their QR code, and she was very friendly. Five stars to Keira for sure!As for the food, it was delicious. The wings were definitely tasty. My fiancé also enjoyed her salmon rice bowl and my burger was solid. Only downside is five wings for $12 seems a little pricy, although the qualify was there for sure. Overall, it was a solid visit. We will be back!

Gluten-free options galore for those of us that need it. Most dishes could be made GF, including the waffles, French toast and pancakes, which is awesome to be able to order from the whole menu like everyone else. And, most importantly, food was very good. Husband ordered the banana bread French toast and said it was delicious. Sausage had a very nice flavor. Eggs were good and steaming hot at table. Great service. Food and utensils brought to table. We ordered at the counter so I could ask questions about GF options; however, you can also order at the table. Breakfast food served until 3 pm! Highly recommend!
