Heros Gyros

If I had to rate Heros Gyros, I'd give it 11/10!Our food was prepared quickly and the ingredients 100% fresh! Alexa and Lawrence provided excellent customer service ! I recommend everyone in ATX come check them out! You will not be disappointed !I would like to add they are a two man crew!!!Y'all come out, RUN DO NOT WALK ...I recommend the lamb gyro with the hot sauce and the crack fries! The food is 12/10 delicious and service is fast. I got the chicken Gyro. Awesome owner too, they are working hard in this insane summer heat! Always tip your cook!

Wow this place is a gem! The beef & lamb gyro with added hummus is incredible. Good portion size too! Would definitely recommend. Both my fiancé and I claim it's the best gyro we have ever had and even better than the ones we had in Greece.

We had this truck out to our neighborhood. Great fresh sandwiches. Pleasant staff. Very professional and good customer service! We will have them back.

The beef and lamb gyro meat was the most flavorful I've ever had!!! The pita bread was soft, fluffy and buttery. The crinkle cut crack fries had a nice spice to them too.

Saving grace of late night gyro delivery! Here I am reviewing another gyro because I love them. 2 Step Gyro has both lamb and chicken, tomato, red onion, and sauce. Their sauce is less traditional as it doesn't have the cool flavor of cucumber but a more savory sauce, not a bad thing- as it tastes delicious!

Food was really good. Ordered online food was 20 minutes later than expected. Only had two people working for and had about 15 orders to take care of

Don't go anywhere in Austin to have gryos until you try Heros Gyros! The quality and huge portion of their gryo is the best thing downtown for anyone running around enjoying the night scene. They are sometimes fast, but it can get pretty busy weekend nights. We've loved them since we found them. We even make trips all the way downtown just to enjoy their fantastic gyros! We tried their gyros, but after reading the other reviews, we will add extra items to try out. Ha! But we are not skipping the gyros!

Tried these guys out a couple of weekend and was floored by their gyro! Tons of meat, very flavorful, I got enough sauce on it, but whoa! Lots of of the good stuff!! Easily one of the best gyros in town! Philly Cheesesteak was also pretty solid and quite authentic. The bun was soft, melted in your mouth, the meat was flavorful, plenty of cheese, it was very tasty indeed. The guy was very nice and accommodating, eager to please, he sometimes runs out of pens (thanks to his neighbors) but I helped him out a bit w/ some inventory. Sometimes you wait, especially when he's by himself, but he works his tail off as best as possible. I tell ya - - my Gyro was well worth the wait - - meat was full of flavor and spices so I'll definitely come back and see him again.

The food is actually really good, the woman that works the truck though is so rude! This truck has come to our complex like 4 times this year, and the food doesn't disappoint. Every interaction I have had with the lady in the truck has been awful. She ignores you, has a bad attitude and is just all around nasty to me even when I'm very polite. The man working the truck is always nice and pleasant, the same can't be said for the woman. Fire her, and I guarantee you would have more business! Food is great!
