Here Nor There

This is a cool lounge that's like a hidden gem. You have to the right connections to make a reservation at this place and it will be for a specific time slot as well. You cant just show up and it's not an easy spot to find. When they send you the details of your reservation like where its at, what the code will be and what the rules are then you'll understand more how the place is ran. Its a respectable place to take guest from out of town, have a happy hour with coworkers, celebrate a special occasion. The staff is excellent and they have a nice selective menu of special drinks they make. I've enjoyed every one I have chosen and my guests as well. Every time we go. All enjoy the experience there.

My husband surprised me and took me to this speakeasy after our anniversary dinner. We couldn't find it at first but he recognized the B&W wall when we turned the corner, entered the code at the gate and we were in. The hostess greeted us immediately with a glass of Prosecco and sat us at a private booth. Love it!They had drinks and food, but we had just come from dinner so we only ordered drinks. I ordered red and hubby ordered Since Eden and Milk & Honey. All of the drinks were really good. I love the custom ice cubes with their logo, adds a nice touch. The server was great, very helpful and patient and treated us to a dessert drink to finish off the night. The ambience is super cute and intimate as you'd expect a speak easy to be, I'm actually plotting my return before leaving ATX. They have high top seating, booth seating, bar seating and tables to accommodate larger groups. The bathrooms were clean too which is always a plus and the music was on point. Definitely make a reservation and stop in if you're in the area!

Here Nor There gets a 5-star review for me! This speakeasy was absolutely amazing! To make reservations, you have to download their app and it's super easy to do that. Depending on your party size you can get up to 2 hours. The day of your reservation, you'll be given a code to open the gate and enter the speakeasy's alley. Located in Downtown Austin. As you walk in and down the stairs, you're greeted with a glass of champagne to cleanse your palate. As you sit in one of the areas, the staff will give you a rundown of their drinks. And the drinks were phenomenal!Their current menus is entitled"Odyssey", which is an exploration of flavors and stories. The "Since Eden" , "Red" and "Milk & Honey" cocktails were all phenomenal!Inside, there were so many intimate areas to sip your cocktails in - small nooks/booths, table seating, bar area, etc. It was truly a great experience at Here Nor There! I am ready to go back already!

What a cute vibe for a speakeasy style cocktail bar! We arrived very early for our reservation but were happily accommodated. There was a welcome drink and some rnb music playing. We were seated in a nook so although the place is small we felt nicely to ourselves. There was a wide variety of cocktails to choose from and the waiter provided excellent well thought out suggestions. One of the top speakeasys I've been to in the area. I will be back.

Everything from start to finish about this place is awesomeeeee. You walk up & put the code, there might be a line maybe not just depends on your reservation but the guy at the door was sooooo nice and cool!!! He was definitely making me more excited to go in and the hype is reallll. I think it's so cool how you don't see the menu or anything before you go in. It's a nice dark sexy dungeon vibe if you ask me I love it. Bartenders were amazing and really put in some work to make these drinks I see why they're $20 each!! So worth it I promise. If u want a good show definitely sit at the bar! Hidden gem literally. The music is awesomeeee too, whoever djs this place has great taste ! lol

We had such a cool experience at Here Nor There Bar! It's a hidden speakeasy with an incredible vibe--definitely a gem in downtown Austin. We happened to visit on a night when they were doing a bar switch with another local favorite, Nickel City, which made the night even more fun and unique. We ordered two cocktails, and they were fantastic--crafted to perfection. Amanda took amazing care of us and truly made the experience memorable. We'll definitely be back!

If your in Austin just plan a visit, you won't be sorry. While the drinks are on the pricier side the uniqueness and ambience makes up for it. Drinks are fun, creative, and taste great!

Great service, fun decor, and an awesome playlist. We ordered 3 drinks and enjoyed 2 of them. We also ordered the biscuits with foie gras butter but found the biscuits small and dry. We had a good time but wouldn't necessarily go back.

I love getting to see more of Austin and this whole speak easy vibe! First thing first you MUST have a reservation through the app it took about a week for me to get a confirmed booking then you get your own special code. I am all about fun and unique experiences. Wow the drinks are amazing and so unique and how a lot of them come with a poem. The ambience is romantic and dark very small space but really enjoyed the whole experience. Our server was fantastic he definitely knew his drinks and always made sure we had the experience we came for.
