My first time at Haymaker and I went with colleagues. They've got a terrific happy hour and a big selection of beers and cocktails.Food is typical bar fare...on steroids! Meaning they've taken the typical fare and raised it by a crazy number of notches.Breaded/fried pretzel bites? Yes, please! Sausage balls? Yes, please. BLT is a perfect comfort food sandwich.Really chill place to hang with co-workers, friends, etc.Super attentive service.

Used to love Haymaker, went for the USA vs Canada hockey game and they had to pause drink orders for 15 minutes due to the bar being backed up and then I ordered Poutine and 2 buddies got grilled chicken sandwiches, all 3 of us got ill during the night after eating there. Another buddy got a patty melt that he said was one of the worst he's ever had, over cooked patty, little to no sauce and the cheese wasn't melted. Unfortunately it seems that due to being busy their standard for quality dropped severely. The server I had was friendly though!

Really big beer and food menu! Tons of seating inside and outside, but the parking lot is pretty small so be prepared to park somewhere else or ride share. Ordered the Kolsch and bacon wrapped hotdog (seasonal item) - portions were generous!

Haymaker has good social vibes outside and has more of a dive bar feeling inside. It is optimal for socializing with a big group. They have daily drink specials, although I didn't get a drink when we went on a Friday because I don't drink margs. Their food and drinks are definitely on the pricer side for a casual sports bar.My friends ordered the garlic parmesan wings, which they really enjoyed. I got the hay-mac and cheese, which is a small bowl topped with garlic bread crumbs. It ended up being about $10, which was pricey for such a small portion. I thought it was good but nothing to rave about. The service was friendly.

Came here to watch a UT game, had a blast with friends. The service was truly amazing despite the large crowd. Food and drinks were fantastic- I love the spinach dip! Fun atmosphere for a game day and kid friendly.

We had a company event here. There's parking available, and great service in a no-frills bar. The brussel sprouts were delicious! The Haymaker sandwich was tasty as well. Very chill vibe which made it easy to catch up with folks!

Nice staff here! I'd skip the food though if you're just looking for a place to hangout and grab a drink. Lots of seating but the food is extremely greasy and heavy. Decent pricing though so I couldn't be too upset.

Love this bar. Great vibe with two pool tables, shuffleboard and darts on one side and plenty of TV's and tables in the other. Outdoor seating both front and back if you want to enjoy the beautiful weather. Surprisingly good food as well. I am a chicken wing snob and their wings were crispy and very tasty. Staff is laid back and friendly but also great at execution. Definitely worth a stop, or two.

I met my brother here before a basketball game at Moody Center. The weather was perfect for a nice lunch on their deck. Our waitress was friendly and several different crowds were enjoying sports. One group was watching the football (soccer) game and another group was inside watching American football. It's a great place for sports! I ordered a sangria which was $4 for a Sunday special. We tried the warm salsa -which was on the fall menu. At first, it had a great taste. Then you mostly tasted vinegar. I think warming it brought out too much of the vinegar taste. Maybe a bit of Mexican sour cream on top as the fat to balance the acid??I got the French dip sandwich which was inedible. I took one bite and there was a bunch of fat. I took another bite and again...mostly fat. I took the sandwich apart to see if there was any redeeming pieces of meat but sadly, no. Even my brother noted how fatty it was. I don't know if it was just a bad cut but it was disappointing. :( I could have used more fries on my plate considering this is all I ate. My brother ordered a Reuben and his sandwich looked amazing!! (See pics)This neighborhood joint has been around for a while. The burgers have always been solid. I wish I had gone with my standby and ordered that instead. The patio is dog friendly and I made some new (dog) friends that day. :)y
