If you're craving seafood this is the place! New to the block but a winner on my list already. Great plates selection and really well served with many options for the price! Their grilled shrimp plate with Parmesan fries, red beans & rice was delicious...I'm drooling right now! The shrimp was big! I asked to go but next time I'll eat in to get me a refreshing-spicy "Michelada" to enjoy my meal at full blast! The owners were friendly and helped me make my choices. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I love me some seafood and was happy to learn they are so close! We did online ordering which doesn't give the option to set a pickup time, but the quoted window of 15-20 minutes was pretty spot-on. I would just plan accordingly, but even if you have to wait a bit there are lots of shops to roam around in while you wait to receive the text that your order is ready! The variety available made it hard to choose but I finally narrowed it down to:-B4 Soft-Shell Crab Basket: What a deal, not only does this come with 3 well battered soft-shell crabs +sauce of choice (can't go wrong with tartar) but you also get a sweet roll, fries, a simple salad with your choice of dressing (highly recommend the Ginger dressing) and a cup of red beans and rice! -P2 Oyster Po' Boy: This came with 6 oysters+ sauce of choice, loved how well fried it was and the bread was soft.-BS4 (3lb) LIVE Crawfish Boil: Enjoyed how the crawfish were a decent size but for the price it felt a little high per pound and only included 1/2 an ear of corn and a potato. Unlike other traditional Viet Cajun places, HappyRito also seems to just toss the crawfish with your sauce of choice after they are cooked so the flavor doesn't have a chance to penetrate into anything. However maybe this has changed bc this review was from my experience a year ago and I just realized it wasn't published...better later than never!

Had no idea this spot was here! A bit hard to find and hidden in a shopping center. Agree with what someone else said, service here was a bit confusing, I'd prefer to order online and take my food to-go next time. It's a bit small inside, we had to wait a bit for a table. Mangonada was just okay, would skip this next time as it seemed to have only one drop of alcohol lol. Criticism aside, on to the positives! Now that we know where this place is at, can't wait to order from here again! Overall service was acceptable, we had time to spare so didn't mind the wait. Fish basket and the works basket were bomb! A bit pricey, but with all the sides, it's worth it! My garlic Parmesan sauce for the fries was damn good, I'm still thinking about it lol! The ginger apple dressing was a great palette cleanser for all the fried foods. You definitely don't need an appetizer, but our Taiwanese chicken was tasty too! So glad to have this spot in our neighborhood!

Let me share my experience at HappyRito Seafood, starting with a silver lining: the waitress was friendly and attentive, but she could definitely use some backup to ensure tables are checked on more regularly after orders are placed. Now, let's dive into the meal. I opted for a classic snow crab boil, gumbo, and sweet tea. Shortly after I placed my order, a group of four came in and received their similar dishes well before I did. After waiting about 5 minutes , I had to flag down the manager. Her only response? "It's coming." Finally, 10-12 minutes later, my crab boil arrived, but there was no apology for the delay--just a quick drop-off at the table. When I finally got my snow crab, I was disappointed to find that it had only been partially boiled. The last bit of each leg (still edible parts) was ice cold, suggesting it had been hastily dunked in hot water and sent out. The corn? Rock hard and cold, as if it hadn't seen a pot of boiling water at all. To make matters worse, my gumbo was missing. I had to remind the waitress, who apologized but didn't get it to me until I was practically ready to leave.I had specifically asked for regular spicy and extra spice on the side, but what I got was just butter and garlic--no seasoning, nothing to elevate the dish. When I mentioned to the waitress that my food was cold and I'd planned to take it home to reheat, she suggested I speak with the manager. On my way out, I conveyed my concerns again, but the manager shrugged it off saying she'd "let them know" and kept giggling with some guys at the bar rather than taking my feedback seriously. If you're going to have waitstaff who take orders at the counter, then checks on tables, they really need some support to ensure everyone is attended to. During my visit, it seemed only two tables were checked on while I sat there waiting. The location is nothing fancy but charming and I was excited to try what I was told was a new small business in the area. I wanted to give HappyRito Seafood a second chance, but after this experience, I realized there are plenty of other restaurants that would appreciate my business. Spending $55 on a meal shouldn't feel like a gamble, and I left feeling underappreciated and unsatisfied.

CRAWFISH CRAVING BEFORE CRAWFISH SEASON, HELP!!!! Came to try some vietnamese style crawfish and this spot was busy on a friday night! I got the 5 lb crawfish to share with a friend. It came with 1 corn, 2 potatoes, 1 sausages (we switched out the potatoes for an extra corn cus CORN IS THE BEST). The happy sauce is garlicy and heavenly. My friend took the leftover sauce to-go because that's the perfect fried rice sauce to make for lunch the next day (you're welcome for the idea). Unfortunately the crawfish is still pretty small so that was disappointing but we still had a great time and ate every single crawdaddy that was on our plate. We also ordered mozarella balls to share and i expected more cheese? i wish there was more hot cheeto cus you could barely taste the hot cheetos. Great experience tho, i'll be back once the crawdaddies get bigger!

BOMB! The strange name definitely threw me off at first, but that's easy to get past. I haven't tried their seafood boil which seems to have mixed reviews, but I usually get their fried seafood platter and it's crispy perfection. Their gumbo is also pretty good. If you're from New Orleans, it's not going to remind you of home or anything like that, but it's a pretty good gumbo to be coming out of Austin. Red beans and rice are also yummy.

Food Was Really Good And Drinks Are On Point. I Went For Happy Hour. I'm Not Going To Lie This Place Would Have Gotten A 5/5 If The Sauce Was Less Oily, They Allowed You To Buy Wings Without A Minimum At Happy Hour And They Had Blue Cheese For The Wings.
