Was excited to see this place in the trailer park off south first. We wanted to place an order for pick up but no one answered the phone for the entire evening. Not great. I went and ordered in person and just had to wait. The gal wasn't very helpful when ordering. I kept asking what she recommended for her food and she kept trying to give me desert. I wanted food suggestions not desert but it's all that was continuing to be recommended. I ordered a beef pho, a special bahn Mi, pork steamed buns and some chicken skewers. Nothing was really that good. The beef in the pho was gross. I couldn't even eat it. It tasted like processed hotdogs. It was cut really thick, and it ultimately was not edible to me. The broth was tasty, but there were not enough noodles. The sandwich was soggy and really didn't have very good flavor. I also don't think the meat in it was good. Felt like processed sandwich meat heated up. The skewers were pretty good but I was turned off by all the other things. Pork buns were OK. We wouldn't go back.

Adventures of Thicket Food Truck Park part 3!Today we got Vietnamese! Kept it somewhat basic trying some spring rolls and a bunch of meat skewers. The skewers were incredibly well marinated, and the accompanying sauces elevated them to near perfection. Maybe a tiny bit more heat would have been nice, but not complaining at all.The spring rolls were MASSIVE. Almost too big too handle. Both shrimp and pork inside, and the homemade super chunky peanut sauce was unique and savory.I had several people as me where I got my lunch, as it truly presented beautifully. Cheers and looking forward to trying more!

Came here at around 8:30 at night with the understanding they close at 9pm.Stood outside of the window for 15 minutes with no greeting of "I'll be with you shortly" nothing at all. Keep in mind it's hot as hell in Texas in Summertime. The owner looked at me multiple times, and barely even acknowledged me. Rude AF!!! If you can't acknowledge someone trying to order food standing outside in the heat for 15 mins you don't deserve to be in the food industry in Austin. I'll take my money elsewhere, I get everyone has an off night, but all these rave reviews about how nice and calming the atmosphere is is not what I experienced at all.

I love Hanh's homemade food truck!!! The food is delicious and she is so nice. This time we got the Vietnamese pancake, summer rolls, lemongrass chicken skewers, and mung bean cakes with yoghurt. It was the perfect amount of food for my bf and me :) we loved it all!! 10/10 would recommend.

A food truck in the South First and Dittmar food court, one of the two best in Austin. Most of the trucks here are pretty good. This one is just okay - but just okay is all right if it is sunset, there is live music and you are in a pretty place.Hanh's is a Vietnamese food truck.Service is slow and food quality is mixed. But there is some good stuff here.Avoid the fried food. Banana rolls were worse than the ones you can get elsewhere.Carnivorous egg rolls were okay at best. However, rolls of any kind come with a home made pepper dip.The home made pepper dip is nifty and makes anything good - Even so-so banana rolls. The wife got unlucky and ordered a vegan banh. She complained loud and long about the quality of her bread.Since the banh itself is what makes Vietnamese sandwiches special ... That is not good news.I ordered a six color vegan vermicelli bowl. This is a very "Honest Mary's" concept.A great big bowl with a grain on the bottom (Vermicelli in this case)A ton of healthy vegetables (Cabbage, carrot and cucumber in this case)And various protein ingredients (A mix of Vietnamese vegan meats in this case.)The vegetables and vermicelli were boring awful "good for you" food. The Vietnamese vegan meats were more entertaining. Two items - a "curried" vegan pork and a vegan pork loafWere outstanding. There was great stuff as well as boring stuff in the bowl.Dumping in my extra pepper sauce from the rolls did not harm either.* * *Bottom line:I think if you ate here enough, you would find the dishes you absolutely adored. You could order off your favorite 25% of the menu and do very well.Service would still be slow - but the food court is a nice place. You can afford to relax a bit.If you order randomly,Do some Buddhist prayers before you come to the food court.Bring forth the protection of the Benevolent Spirits to guide you to the good dishes.

Pretty good! This is located in a super cute food truck park shaded by trees and had live music.Summer spring rolls: 5/5 - very tasty. Shrimp and I think pork in a light spring roll with a peanut sauce. No complaints.Vietnamese coffee: 5/5 - very good. It's a Vietnamese coffee. wasn't too strong and very refreshingAvocado smoothie: 5/5 - very good. It does have durian in it which many people don't like but I do and I thought it was good.Caramel pork banh mi: 3/5 - meh - way too saucy and this is some kind of fusion type banh mi. I also didn't love the pate and the bread wasn't great imo.Overall, I'd come here again but for the spring rolls and drinks.

We take out the foods for lunch. The service was so friendly and nice. The owner was very kind. Ambiance was great. I loved the area. We got banmi sandwich and beef pho. Both were great but I think banmi was better.

This has become my go to place for pho and spring rolls in S Austin. I think my favorite part of the pho is that it is unique and more of a cultural experience than an average pho. It is fresher with a lot of fresh veggies, fried garlic, and great flavor from the beef with a lot of collagen in the broth and some atypical pieces of some beef meatball that I really enjoyed. Very large bowl of pho and the spring rolls come with some pork sausage in there which I really like.
