The sushi comes in to-go containers, which is different but adds to its quirky charm.It's definitely not your typical sit-down sushi spot, but it has a certain appeal that makes it stand out. The quality of the food speaks for itself, and I'd happily eat here again. If you're in the mood for good sushi with a unique experience, Hanara is worth checking out!

Hidden behind Five Guys in the back is where you'll find Hanara. Food: pretty good for a small take out spot. We enjoyed the tonkatsu bento box and hallelujah roll Service: friendly and helpful. It's a nice family owned place Ambiance: small but cozy. Seating upstairs and downstairs.

Great food. Always fresh. Convenient location. Friendly service. My favorite are poke bowl and unagi or salmon bento. Cons: no bathrooms, no sink to wash hands.

I always have a great experience at Hanara, the staff is always so friendly and loves to catch up when I come in. I usually get the salmon tempura role, I think it's delicious and the presentation is always so fabulous. Will always be one of my favorite little spots !

They have seating downstairs and upstairs but water cups are only available downstairs so make sure to get those before going up. Utensils are available upstairs.

Hanara is a small sushi grill with a big personality and awesome food. I ordered the Samurai Roll, and it did not disappoint. Substituting sweet potato for cucumber is genius. Also, i don't think I've ever had a roll this thick before. I highly recommend this petite two story restaurant, which is nestled between ArtUS Co (Austin's CoOp Artist workspace & and gallery) and Amy's Ice Cream (another Austin original) near the oversized outdoor chess board.

You haven't had a poke bowl until you're had theirs. Every vegetable is fresh and crunchy, the spicy tuna is top notch, every flavor is balanced and absolutely yuuuum

Last month we came here for a friend's lunch birthday party. The customer service was simply amazing. Not to mention the food was delicious as well. The place is small so you have to be a little patient if they're busy. I would definitely recommend this place to others and we will for sure be back again. We ordered at least 8 rolls and the presentation was absolutely gorgeous #insta worthy. We were even given delicious ice cream cake (three large peanut butter chocolate slices) for free! If you're in Northwest Austin, Hanara is a must visit for sushi.

Great service and wide verity of tasty dishes.Lovely music in the air. The owner and the chef were very friendly and informative in their selections.

Great Sushi & Great Service! Definitely would recommend. Not busy and you have the option to dine in or take out. Just FYI dining in it is a small to go style. I ordered the samurai roll and caterpillar roll and both were fresh and better than other places I've been.
