Growler Express

This is a clean, small, cozy and cute indoor only beer tap room. We happened to stumble upon this establishment by chance. I'm glad we did! Great place to sit, relax and have a local craft beer. Plenty to choose from! Great service too!

Growler Express is a pleasant surprise. I chose it due to its proximity to my son's house in Manchaca. But I was pleased to learn that it could stand on its own merits. For one thing, its ambience is a cut above other growler bars I've been to. It's more like a bar with great selection of beer, a host of regulars, and inviting interior. Daily specials are posted behind the bar. Two TVs for your viewing pleasure. Plenty of seating given its relatively small size. And a great selection of local and regional beers. But what really sold me was that as we walked through the door the bartender was carrying a bowl of water for my small dog to one of the tables. Along with a dog biscuit. Food? Other than dog biscuits I'm not sure. I didn't notice any snacks available but I didn't really look. There is a small assortment of soft drinks. But what will really bring me back next time I'm in town is the hospitality the bartender show to my small dog. Jax and I thank you.

We happened upon the Growler Express in search of a taproom to try a variety of local beers. The service was excellent and the beer choices were plentiful! Local regulars at the bar were friendly and bbq food truck was an option. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Fun little place with a wide selection of Texas brews. Service is excellent, and they know the locals. My favorite nights are Fridays when they have local choices of yummy munchies like gumbo or ceviche or.... It depends on the week.

Great new addition to the greater Buda/Kyle metroplex area and just what beer geeks like me here needed. No more running up too ATX, San Marcos, or SA to try great, local, craft beer.By local, they really mean it. They are trying to get brews that are local to the Buda area. And while they may carry a tap or two from breweries in Austin/SA, they really want to spotlight breweries that are not Austin or SA based, really defining "drink local." We went during their soft opening and they had a steady, if not busy stream of customers, which all managed to get served timely and had their questions answered (some customers were new to the craft beer scene). Really look forward to coming back here and setting their additions (outdoor seating). No food as of yet but you can bring your own or call it in (pro tip: there's a Papa John's next door and a Thai restaurant a block away)Looking forward to many more pints at this new hang out spot in the 78610.

I've driven by this place a few times and have always wanted to check it out. A few friends came by to visit me this week, so I had the perfect excuse to finally go in. I am glad we did, they had a ton of great beer, friendly staff and a chill environment. Can't wait to stop by again.

This is the PERFECT place to drop off your husband while you shop at HEB, Wal-Mart, or the other businesses around Growler Express. Wide selection + knowledgeable staff + a clean place = good on ya, GE! P.S. Ladies night is on Wednesdays!

What an "Over the Top" Bar. No frills or nonsense...just a Dynamic place to thoroughly enjoy Craft Brew.The owner, Roberto knows what he's doing. He possesses extensive knowledge of Craft Beer & readily engages in genuine conversation/discussion of the brews he offers...all of which are Outstanding!Natasha is behind the bar dispensing the fine selection with perfection. I like this place. Local hang. Discounted growler fills on Wednesdays. Knowledgeable bartenders. Texas brews primarily and a great variety of styles. I like it that I can buy stouts and barley wines in summer.
