Came here for eagles football Sunday. Dana with her "gluten free buns" was great. Everything is ordered on your phone through a QR code and you keep a running tab until you're ready to pay. Don't order 3 garlic knots. You must order 6 bc the 3 is not enough.Pizza rolls are the perfect size if you're the only one eating pizza. They do have gluten free crusts and dairy free cheese for the pizza but no gluten free buns for the sandwich's

It's been some time since I found a decent cheesesteak in Austin. I was recommended to try Gratas. I drove up and parked with signs for PHILLY fans only. Ok now we are talking. I ordered my usual pizza steak with onions and hot peppers, sauce on top. Gratas is serious about their sandwiches by bringing in meat and bread dough from Philly. The steak was decent but not epic. I had two major issues. The bread is too soft. There is no crust to the bread and that chewy bread is a must for a great steak sandwich. Number two is Gratas mixes their add ons into the steak. A great sandwich has the meat and cheese mixed or melted as the base. The onions, peppers, sauce and anything else is an add to the top item. Never mixed in. My sandwich was a mix of everything. It killed the base taste of meat and cheese we Philadelphians enjoy. I hope they trial this method. I think it would improve the sandwich.I will return as the people were extremely nice, passionate, and I did not get to try the pizza. Until next time!

Semi-retired Chef is a 5am weekend baker at Sprouts here in the neighborhood. Had intended on making myself a beautiful chicken tetrazzini this afternoon and forgot the mushrooms So I chose to try this spot just a block from where I live. The menu was tantalizing and drew me in to order: Americana Bites w/red sauce, a Philly French Dip and an order of Lemon Riccotta Cannoli.... Oh No!!Please check out the pics. The char on the bites was ALL I could smell and taste. I looked at it and said "nah" yet freaking bit in anyway. Oily in a BAD way and like biting into a soft charcoal briquette. YUCK!! French dip was DRY as F*** and the palest au jus (I've ever seen!!)reeked of chicken broth, weak and bland. I smelled the mini cannoli which indicated burnt citrus. Soggy pistachio ends, one bite and I literally spit it 'cuz it was overpowered with lemon pith. A rather spendy mistake. My favorite food group is pizza, and maybe I should have tried that??Grat'a, Philly is rather disappointed with You

I'd like to give this place more stars because bottom line-- their Neapolitan style pizza is pretty darn good (albeit one was a tad soggy/under cooked) HOWEVER, the dinning in experience leaves a bit to be desired. 1.The Philadelphia Eagles thing even non game days is just over the top obnoxious (which is par for the course for Philly fans I guess)2. The servers are all fairly clueless about the menu. When I asked if they had a beer list they said no, and just pointed to the Taps across the room and said 'that's what we got". My wife asked what wines they had they replied "Red and white". When we asked if they had a list we could see they said "nope, not yet". I get this shit attitude if this is some sort of shtick or something, if you're trying to be cute ... but my guys, you ain't Mac, Charlie, Dennis and D'-- fuck off back to Kensington if this is how you want to be. That said, I'd still might give their hogies a shot... just sure as shit NOT IN the restaurant!

This place had been popping up on our social media feeds for a while, so we decided to give it a try for our Friday night pizza excursion. Sidenote - we have been twice so this review will capture both experiences. The first time we walked in, the bar staff and wait staff gave a hearty hello and gave us our choice of table and walked us through their menu. Even though Friday is pizza night, they almost convinced me to get a cheese steak! The drink prices for happy hour are solid and the pizza selection was great. We had the Sweet and Spicy pizza (red sauce, pepperoni, capicola, garlic confit, mazzarella, sweet bacon marmalade, and hot pepper relish), which was really tasty. You could taste every ingredient there and the dough was cooked to perfection for the most part. I am sure it was the weight of the toppings, but it was a little flimsy in the center. The Caprese Salad was pretty standard but fresh. Our second time around, we ordered the Galina Caprese (basil pesto base, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, chicken, garlic confit, and parigiano reggiano) and it was super tasty! Their pesto base was definitely on point and the chicken was super flavorful. If anything, I might recommend smaller cuts of the chicken to help with the weight/balance. All in all, the pizzas had amazing flavor and the service was really good...until the end. I don't know what happened, but each time, there came a point where the waiter just forgot about us. The first time, our waiter handed us off to a trainee who almost dropped all of the cleared plates on us after we asked for water multiple times. And we had to ask for the check. The second time, we had been sitting there trying to flag our guy down because we would have ordered more drinks or even dessert. He was at every table but ours. Eventually, I went up to the bar to get our check and we left. We will go back but they seriously have to learn how to maintain service throughout the meal and to remember to bring the check.

The Margherita pie at Grata's Pizzeria lands at a 6.8 for me. While the crust had a nice crisp and chew, the overall execution was lacking. The pie needed more mozzarella--there just wasn't enough to create that rich, creamy texture that makes a great Margherita stand out. On top of that, the basil was a letdown. It didn't seem fresh and was cooked into the pizza instead of being added after, which took away from that vibrant, herbaceous note you typically expect. The sauce was fresh but could use a bit more seasoning to round it out. There's potential here, but it missed the mark this time.

Sometimes the picture tells you a lie, this is not one of those times. The sandwich was as delicious as it looks, and my whole review is going to send around that fact. Look at that. Just look.

Very solid pizza and beer on tap but also very mediocre in all the best ways. This is where you come for the company and stay for the food coma. The menu offers some great options for all classic pizzas, from red sauce to white sauce to green pesto. All of which are on what appears to be Neapolitan crusts, with great charred air pockets. Just the right amount. The Roma had the most flavor of the 3 pizzas I tried. Probably a vegetarian's favorite pizza but I do wish there was more red sauce. The Bianca pizza was nice and mellow, but missing just a little something as it tastes very white. Not necessarily bland but some more garlic or truffle would've been nice. Perhaps exactly what's missing is the truffles. And no red sauce for dipping. I was a little sorely disappointed to munch on dry bready crusts. Nevertheless a great experience with the best permed hair you've ever been waited on.

Delivery available via DoorDash. Expensive but worth it (our order was $90 with taxes and fees). Pesto garlic knot, ricotta limone pizza, il Forte pizza, & chocolate cannoli were all amazing. I wish I had taken pics, but I ate it too fast
