We stopped by for lunch on a Thursday. Place was empty, it's an older establishment so don't have high expectation when going. Our waiter was nice but didn't speak much English but that was not a big deal for us.We ordered the two torta that they have on their menu the brisket and the Cuban one. Both come with loads of show string fries, however they both lack some kind of sauce or condiment or something. They are on the dryer side. We also ordered size of coleslaw and wasn't impressed that for $4 they gave us a tinny little container like what you get at burger spots for ketchup or ranch. Overall we liked it we may go back for drinks and more food item if we are ever in the area. They did have a very loud Mexican music playing and the entire decor is very colorful.

We arrived and waited like their sign stated, "Wait to be seated!" Fifteen minutes later an employee looked at us perplexed and said "seat yourself!" Take the sign down if you want customers to seat themselves! It was slightly busy due to the Usher Concert by no means so busy there was substandard customer service. There are a ton of places/competition in Austin to go to that will treat their customers the right way. Again, we waited approximately 20-30 minutes to be acknowledged or asked if we wanted water; unbelievable!!! So we are 40 minutes in and we finally received water. Our wait staff were nice enough but by no means worth waiting 40-45 minutes to be seated, acknowledged, and waited for water. I wanted to walk out but I was talked out of it by my wife. There was a table behind us that had 20 people and didn't supervise their children so we constantly were bumped into by children. It's not the child's fault; however their parents should have supervised them. After an hour we received our appetizer and one drink! It was a miserable experience at a pricey establishment. The place has decent enough ambience but the customer service is terrible. People pay inflated prices to enjoy their meals and in Austin there's a ton of competition that would love OUR business especially with our economy! We been here two other times and it was decent but the third time was horrible. If you plan on going please expect substandard service and long wait times. The place smelled terrible because someone plugged their toilet. I hope ownership takes their reviews serious and try to make reviews a teaching moment.

Stopped by during their Sunday Brunch with live music & drink specials. Their mimosa towers were $10 and margaritas were $5. I got the queso birria taco plate and it was very filling. The server was also attentive. We used Lyft to get here parking seemed to be a little difficult in the area. Food was good and I would be back. The music was a little loud so you do have to yell if you're talking to someone.

Really cute place. Thought it was closed because the front gates were padlocked but went around the side. We started with the salsa sampler. Not sure if I would consider any of them salsa but they did have good flavor. The dark red is rather spicy. I got the chili enchiladas and my husband got the burrito with steak. Both were very good. Not a huge fan of the beans but I tend to lean more towards black beans in general. Overall good lunch spot.

This was my first time trying Gabriela's. For a Saturday the wait was not very long. We were seated within 20 minutes of arrival. It took a while before a server came by for drink orders. Not sure of our servers name but we didn't see her much. Which made dinner drag longer than it should .The corn lacked flavor and was kind of dry. There are no actual spicy salsas . My tacos were ok but the meat was really tough. The highlight were the drinks . They were really good. We didn't order another round since the service was really slow here .

Amazing.Very nice view from the outdoor patio, you can see the sunset off 35 from the Austin skyline. I went during national Tequila day and even though they were busy, the service was excellent. I highly recommend the Choriqueso and the Asada Tacos, very delicious, flavorful and filling.Highly recommend for a date night or a night out with friends. Great Austin staple on the east side.

Let's start with the positives - the drinks were absolutely amazing! The cocktails were well-crafted and delicious, making it a great spot for a boozy brunch. However, when it came to the food, I had some reservations. My brunch arrived on the cold side, and the potatoes seemed like they had been sitting out and reheated for days. It was disappointing, especially considering we were only the second group to arrive that day.

This place was so awesome! From the outside it looks like a club, but when you step inside it's this super cool, trendy, magical place! It looks very instagramable inside! There were vegan options! I got vegetable tacos with rice and beans (the beans had pork bits, so i just ate around it). The portions were huge! I was only able to eat half of my meal. It was delicious! The service was ok. Our waiter didn't visit often and never picked up any of our dirty dishes as we finished the meal. We don't live in Austin, but I'm not sure if we will come back in the future. We were lucky it was the only place open so late at night. I guess if we are in this situation again we will come back.

We were in Austin for a friend's birthday and had dinner here. We were a group of 7 on a Saturday night around 10 and the restaurant sat us fairly quickly. While we waited I was able to enjoy the ambiance. There were cute neon signs everywhere and a ton of photo ops. Once we sat I ordered the cucumber agua fresca and it was so good that friends ordered, too. While we waited for our food we listened to great music from their DJ. The street tacos were delish! If you're in Austin and looking for a cool place with great food and drinks, look no further!
